I woke up to the usual conversation between my mom and my grandma talking on the phone. I yawned and quickly streched before I sat up. I reached for my phone, which is usually charging on my nightstand. I pulled out the charger and noticed that my phone crashed. This happens a lot lately and I have to wait for like two hours for it come back to normal. I moaned in misery, throwing the phone somewhere on the bed and letting it cool down. I sweeped the soft fabric of my bed sheets off of me and hopped out off my bed. I slipped my slippers on and headed to my small closet. For some odd reason I felt like I needed to get dressed that day (Usually I just lay around in my pijamas, watching some season of America's Next Top Model that I have admittedly already watched.) , so I picked out something decent and immidiatly changed. After I was all dressed up I made my way to the bathroom. I closed the door after me and quickly washed my face and applied my really unnecessary necessities. I let my hair down and took one last glance in the mirror before grabbing my phone and hurrying downstairs.

I noticed my mom and Miss Dolan discussing the affair that Mister Johnson had with his colleague. I usually try to stay out of people's life, simply because I consider it very rude to invade their privacy but, that was a topic that seemed to have everyone's attention, mainly because everyone thought that the Johnsons had a burning passion one for another. Guess that they were really good at faking emotions.

I walked over to the table where they were having their morning coffee and kindly greeted them.

"Good morning mom, good morning Miss Dolan." I said in a rather happy tone.

"Good morning, sweetie!" My mom said, smiling fondly as she set her coffee mug on the table.

"Good morning Ally." Said Miss Dolan as she turned around to face me. Her dark brown hair was pinned back, exposing her smooth face.

"So what are you up to today?" My mom asked, folding her hands as she always does.

"Nothing much, I'm planning on going to the Apple Store to see what's wrong with my phone." I said as her blue eyes scanned my outfit.

"Oh, okay." She nodded with a smile in the corner of her mouth.

Lack of sound took over the room before I said, "So yeah, I'll go now."

I waved in an uncomfortable manner and slowly headed towards the door. I was stopped by Miss Dolan speaking up, "Wait, don't go!" She protested stilly, turning around in her chair.

"I think Ethan can fix your phone." She continued, pulling her phone out of her pocket.

"Ethan?" I asked confused.

"My son." She explained shortly.

"No, no, I don't want to bother him." I refused politely.

"He is probably not doing anything right now and it's too cold outside to go to the Apple Store." She insisted kindly.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"A hundred percent." She cracked a smile, probably dialing her son. She talked quietly and hung up after a short amount of time.

"He'll be waiting for you." She said, setting her phone next to her mug.

"Thank you so much!" I said smilingly, happy that I didn't have to walk in that cold weather.

"No problem."

"So, bye mom, bye Miss Dolan." I waved at them quickly.

"Bye!" They said in unison as I left. I took a deep breath and started walking towards Miss Dolan's house. The big white house on the corner of the neighborhood belonged to them. Even though I have known Miss Dolan since I was a little girl, I have never got the chance to meet the rest of her family.

Once their big white door was in front of me, I quickly pushed the door bell button and let go in a matter of a second, like I always do. It was probably a side effect of my hatred towards people who would ring like a thousand times for no existing reason. Loud footsteps could be heard before a quite tall boy opened the door. He was leanly mucular, he had a ridiculously strong jawline which was probably the key feature of his face. He looked my age, maybe a year older, and his ears were pierced, a diamond looking gem covering a part of his thin earlobes.

"Hey ... Ally, right?" He asked extending his hand out for a shake. I did the same as he cut a glance at me. He had bright brown eyes, his hands were soft and obviously well nurtured.

"And you must be Ethan." I said as he nodded quickly.

"Uhm, come in." He said, gesturing at the interior of the house. I walked in as he closed the door after me.

"So, what's wrong with your phone?" He asked. His voice was low and smoky as he pushed his hands into his back pockets.

"Well, it crashes a lot and it's getting on my last nerve." I explained as he let a soft chuckle escape his mouth.

"Yeah, I'll try my best to fix it." He said as I handed him my phone. He clicked a few buttons and held them for a short amount of time, then he asked me what apps did I have and deleted a few of them. It turned out that the reason for the crashing of the phone was some app. He deleted it and handed the phone back to me.

"Oh ... wow! Thank you so much." I said, noticing that my phone is functioning perfectly.

"No problem." He said, laughing quietly at my amusment. I checked my phone real quick and looked up to find that his eyes were already on me. There was a short period of silence before I said, "I think I'll go now."

I smilled a little before moving towards the door.

"Oh, okay." He said, coming towards me and slowly opening the door.

"Thank you again." I said, looking at him.

"Don't mention it." He smilled.

"Well, bye!" I said awkwardly.

"Bye!" He said as I walked away.
