"I'm sorry, but I don't think this so going to work."

"W-what are you on about?" I walked over to him almost feeling tears fall.

"I... I want to brake up with you." He said looking straight into my eyes, letting my heart shatter.

"W-what?" I let my arms fall to my sides and my eyes started to create a stream of tears.

"I'm sorry I-"

"You were fine for four years, why now?!" I yelled over the top of him, startling him. "Were you leading me on?!" I Iet my anger take over me, letting my thoughts out for once.

"I wasn't, no..."

"So, why did you suddenly decide to brake up now?" I managed to take a quiet breath.

"I... I... Just don't feel like were gonna survive after we finnsh school..." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Sure, whatever..." I turned away from him swith my head still swinging low. "Just, whatever... I don't care anymore. I don't ever want to see you again..."

"...Don't ever and I mean ever talk to me again..."

The same sentences reply in my head as I look at my school photo and seeing him looking so, happy. Seeing his face makes me want to through the thing across the room, the reason I haven't done it is because I live in a flat with my best friend, she had been there for me ever since that day. She's really amazing.

"Matthew, you don't have to stare at that thing." She said from my doorway holding two cups. "I made you a coffee, you gonna need it, we've got a big day ahead of us." She said walking in smiling that smile which you can't deny.

"Okay, thanks." I replied looking back at the picture.

"Matt... Stop looking at that. I don't care about you've got to say, it's going to bring memories of that day, and if you do that and if you start to depress yourself because of that then I'm going to kill you."  She said taking a big huff of air and tiled her head to tell me that she is serious.

"Hugh, I'll try and stop looking at it." I said looking at the two cups she still had in her hand, once she knew I was looking at the cup she shoved it forward and sat on my bed with me.

"If you want to talk about then you can, ya know. I know it's hard but you haven't seen each other for one year now... Shouldn't that be enough time for you to forget about that ass?" She said placing her free hand on her cup.

"It's not when you truly love that person..." I replied quietly making her smile.

"How cute of you, but he was a dick, I thought you would of forgot about him."

"No, we broke up a year before we finnshed school and I would see him everywhere, and he would look at me and then away like we still were something, I hated it, to much." I said grasping the cup a little harder. Staring at my bed with a little anger.

"If you didn't have that cup in your hand right now, I would of  huged you. You need it." She smiled lighter and more happily. "And you can't say you'll never love again, I said the same thing, but I found someone." She said blushing a little.

"Yeah, and he's weird..." I said frowning making her laugh.

"Ahaha, that's why I'm going out with him, see. You need a guy like him or girl, funny, caring, loving and acts like a dick but knows how to make up for it with lovely se-"

"I don't want to hear anymore!" I managed to find a little giggle. It felt so good to laugh, she's like the only person that can make me laugh. I have ways been this way, but I haven't been this bad, I would have a little more fun, but once my heart was broken I gave up on feeling.

"Aye, look at you smiling, anyway hurry up and drink and get ready, imma drive us to collage today.

"Okay, I'll see you out side my room! " I waved her out smiling a little more as she smiled back then walking out of my room.
