Silent Boy

Chapter One

It's the first day back at school huh?  I don't know what's going to happen or what's gonna go on with me or my best friend, but I would love just to have a happy year, but we all know... That! Will never happen. Even if we tried or every best, the year still will go past at its worst. And I will get it, at its worst. But my best friend will get a little of it as she is my best friend and all so she'll do whatever to stay by my side. I am so thankfull that I have her as my friend, she literally is like my only family right now.

"Hey, Matt... You ready yet?" I heard her call out to me.

"Scarlet, are you ready?" I asked her opening my door then seeing her look at me with a bright smile.

"Matt, your rude." She laughed as she put her hands in her waist and shook her head at me as I made my way to the bathroom trying to hold back a little giggle as she looked like an idiot with her hair like that.

"Wow, finally Matt is finnshed!" She said with her hair now looking decent.

"Aha, what did you do to your hair?" I laughed back at her making her smile a little more.

"Ahhh, did Matthew need a little laugh?" She smiled and grabbed her keys off the counter then unlocked the door as I slid my trainers on. "Come on then, let's take this so ass Road to Collage again. I wonder who the new student are and what their like." She said unlocking the door then looking back at me like I'd be interested, to be honest I don't care about them, I know I won't find someone who was like him. He was perfect for me, we where perfect for each other as we treated each other so right.

" Matthew!" I heard her irritated tone over my deep thoughts. "In the car, and if you think about his again I'm going to run you over!!!" She got said from the drivers seat side.

"Okay, okay, okay..." I said quietly while I slowly made my way to her car. Once I was in she was staring at me, her eyes are full of care, but I was fine, she didn't need to be worried. "I'm okay, you can stop looking at me like that!" I said smiling and with a little giggle as she raised an eye brow. "Seriously!"

"Okay, I believe you..." She said staring the car then pulling off the drive way and on to the road that starts our journey to the college where I've been only for a year so far.

"Okay we're here, good luck today, just make sure if you need me call me or text me." She said to me as I got out with my stuff, she isn't with me at school as she is always with her boyfriend and she's only with me in my last lesson and we never really bump into one another because I have a pass that let's me get to my lessons five minutes early so I don't hit anyone on my way down to the lesson.

"Thank you, and you too. I just hope nobody sees me..." I say as I close the door with her smiling still. I turn to see her weirdo boyfriend walking towards me.

"Hey, Matthew." He said waving his dirty hand at me, all I did was waving back then walk past him like I didn't know who he was, I would normally do it so why not carry on doing it?

It didn't take long before people I was "friends" with noticed me walking through the gate.

"Hey!!!" The girl waved at me as she let her books fall out of her hand. I waved back. I swear she likes me, she's always near me, always knows where I am and my favourite things. She's always so close to me its kind of creepy...

"Oh hey Matthew!" Jack turned me around by my shoulder, scaring me at first.

"Hey Jack." I looked at him smiling a little. His eyes staring at me with a little of excitement. "What is it...?" I sighed, closing my eyes, turning my head waiting for the stupid thing he's about to say.

"I can't wait to see all the new students and shit. Maybe, we can find, Matthew a sweet someone..." He said nudging me as I opened my eyes and laughed as I know I won't find anyone. Cause I know no one will be like him. I lose feelings as fast as I get them, slowly and painfully.

"Yeah yeah, I'd love to see what human can steal my heart." I said walking away from Jack.

"Ow, don't be like that!" I heard him yelled at me as I could hear the patter of his feet getting faster and louder.

"Well I'm being honest, I would love to see someone do that!" I said back also most laughing at the shocked face he had on him.

"We will see about that, I'm sure there will be someone." He's words fade into my head as I've heard that from my best friend and other people so many times it's annoying now. I know there won't be any one, but I guess I'll just have to pretend I care. I really have trouble as I don't want to go through that pain again, nor do I want to put someone through it, it's horrible and nasty. I'm just scared I guess.
