Chapter 6 - Double Cuff

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

   'What do I do?! What do I do?! Todoroki has been captured and I'm sure I'll be next! How could this get any worse?!?'

   "Team Todoroki and (Y/N), you have 5 minutes left to capture the villains." 'Well, I guess we fail. There's no way I can get them both. I only have one pair of cuffs! Wait... Maybe...'

   I look at Todoroki, who is sitting in front of Bakugo and Kirishima, facing me. 'Yeah, this could work..." I wave my arms a bit to get his attention. Todoroki looks at me stone-faced, trying not to draw any attention to me. I sign to him.

   'I have a plan, but I need you to throw an ice ball between Bakugo and Kirishima. Can you do that?' Todoroki nodded slightly and began to form the ball. I took a deep breath and unclipped the cuffs from my belt. I waited for Todoroki's ice ball.

   "Hey Bakugo, Kirishima, catch." Todoroki called out to them, throwing the ball. Both the boys quickly raise the hand closes to the ball to catch it. As they were distracted, I run out from the hiding place behind them and jumped between the two, cuffing both of them in the process. They both didn't catch the ball but caught each other's hands instead. I tumble to the ground and look back to make sure they were both cuffed.

   "Team Todoroki and (Y/N) have won!"

   I let out a long sigh of relief and hugged Todoroki.

   "You know, it would be easier to hug back if I was untied..." He chucked, I blushed at my mistake and untied the tape. We stood up and uncuffed the two from each other.

   "You were lucky, thats why you won. But next time, it won't be that easy!" Bakugo yelled as he began to leave. I just chuckle and walk out as well. My other classmates began to shower me with praise.

   "Wow (Y/N)-chan, you really surprised me with that final move! I haven't even thought of that!" Uraraka gasped, smiling wide. I giggled a bit at her enthusiasm.

   "Hey umm (Y/N)-chan? Did something happen to Shinso? He seems a bit upset..." Midoria asked pointing over to the purple-haired boy sitting on the ground. 'He does seem to be sadder than usual... Probably because he found out his best friend is a villain's kid...' I sigh, looking back at Midoria and sign to him it's fine. Unsure if he understood me or not, I began walking back inside.

   "Where are you going? Training isn't over yet." Aizawa-sensei called out, causing a few heads to turn. I sign to him I'm just heading to the bathroom and keep walking. As I walk, I pull out the notepad that I have on me for people who don't understand sign language and write a message for Shinso.

   'Shinso,
We need to talk. Meet me at my house later today.
- (Y/N)'

   I slip the note into his locker and walk back to training.

   *Timeskip (wow its been a while since I last did one of these)*

   Shinso's P.O.V. (wow and a p.o.v. change! What is up with me today?)

   I walked toured the exit, my entire body heavy. Sure, I had started training harder, but I didn't expect this to be that hard.

   'Not to mention my big screw-up with (Y/N). I made her cry! She'll probably never want to talk to me again... And right when I almost had the confidence to tell her...' I sigh heavily, my heart the only thing heavier than my body, and opened my locker. When I do, a small, cat-shaped piece of paper falls out.

   "Huh? What the... Is that... (Y/N)'s notepaper?" I pick it up the paper and examine it closer.

   'Yep, this is definitely her's. I remember buying these for her birthday.' I sigh a bit, hoping she didn't want to tell me something bad. I flip the paper to the side with writing and read the short message.

   'Well, I guess that means she's already home... Oh well, I'll meet up with her.' I huff, stuffing the note into my bag and heading for the gate.

   "Hey, Shinso." I hear a voice call from behind. I turn to see Todoroki walking toured me.

   "What is it? I have something to do today and I'm kinda in a hurry." I mutter, wanting to get to (Y/N)'s house ASAP. Todoroki walked up to my side and placed a hand on my shoulder. I glance over at Todoroki with a bit of confusion.

   "You better take good care of (Y/N) and keep her close to you, before someone steals her away from you." He whispered, hinting at his intentions.

   "You just meet her, how have you already fallen for her?" I question, not wanting him to be with her. I've known her much longer and I'm even her best friend! I'm not just going to let some human hot pocket take her away.

   "It doesn't concern you. Goodbye, Shinso." Todoroki dismissed, speed walking away from where we stood.

   'That goddamn walking Canadian flag... Whatever, I have places to be.' I huff, jogging down the streets to (Y/N)'s house.

WOO THIS IS DONE! I really did my goal of updating this story in less than a month! It may not be good but I did it.
