Quick info before the chapter. (D/N) is "Dad's name". Thought I'd say just in case anyone didn't know. Enjoy your reading!
_____________________________Shinso's P.O.V.
After a decently long jog, I reached (Y/N)'s house. One issue down, 3 to go. What are the 3? Talking to (Y/N), dealing with Todoroki, and the worst of all... (Y/N)'s father... I sigh and knock on the door. I mean, he's not a bad guy it's just... He scares me. Not sure why, but he does.
I hear nothing from inside the house. I mean, I've tried to talk to him, get to know him and stuff... But it just gets really awkward. The last time we talked, he warned me the house was completely soundproof. I shiver at the memory and gulp down my fear. The door creaks open slowly, like in a scary movie. I freeze and gulp fearfully.
"Oh, Shinso. Why are you here?" Questioned the older man in a wheelchair. I swallow hard and try to look brave. I swear this man can smell fear.
"Hello, Sir. I'm here to see (Y/N). We have a training session in less than an hour." I half-lie. We did have a session later today, but it was in about 2 hours. He seemed to know this, but let me in anyways.
"(Y/N)! Your friend is here!" (D/N) yelled loudly at the ceiling. Shuffling footsteps can be heard above us and I see a head of (H/C) hair poke around the stairway corner. Our eyes lock and I can see the faint smile on her face quickly faded. I heard a small sigh and suddenly (Y/N) began taping and running her knuckles on the wall in a strange pattern.
'Is that... Morse code?' Long patterns of taps and dashes were spelled out. (D/N) would respond, still in taps and dashes. After lots and lots of pattered tapping, (D/N) sighed and turned to me.
"So, you know?" He stated in a stern tone, staring right through me.
"Know... What?" I ask, tilting my head slightly.
"You know the truth. The reason behind everything." (Y/N) said, her voice sounding like a million angels at once. She took the last few steps down the stairs and stands beside her father. (D/N) sighs and begins to stand up from his wheelchair. I was about to jump into action, but (Y/N) holds out her hand as a sign to stop. He struggled a bit, but stands up perfectly fine.
"Well, if (Y/N) trust you, then I do as well. And you don't know about everything just yet. Both of ya, sit down." (Y/N) and I sit next to each other well (D/N) stayed standing. He walked around a bit then begins to explain many more things than the booklet had ever explained.
"So I was a soldier like you had known, but I never had my legs injured to the point of disability. I am, however, not quirkless. My quirk is the same at (Y/N)'s and Death Song. This is how I had known about the 'Sirens know Sirens' thing. And (Y/N), if your not careful, she will find us again. I'm not saying that you can't use your quirk, I'll actually allow you to use it more. But please be cautious unless you can be sure to defend yourself." After he ranted explanation, (Y/N) and I just sat there stunned.
'What do we do now?'

FanfictionIt surprises many people that a girl with 'Siren' as a quirk be a mute by choice. Although they aren't the best, (Y/N) comes from a long line of people with voice-related quirks, but she will refuse to sing or even speak! Not to mention the fact tha...
