Chapter one

Karissa pov,

"ITS SENIOR YEAR KARISSA WAKE UPPPPP" I heard my best friend liana yelled with excitement.

"Beep beep beep" -alarm
I thought that dream was real But reality check it's November an I'm 3 months in my senior year. And liana well we're not friends anymore. I get up
And get dressed for school. Liana and I hasn't been friends since 2 weeks after senior year started. I guess senior year does change people. She a cheerleader, she parties , she's rich, and popular. Before she was like me well she always been a cheerleader but she was quiet and always in the books, she was always on her grades to make sure she had perfect grades. But this year she changed.

*Flashback*

"Karissa your just jealous because I can get anybody I want and do what I want and have fun. Your boring you always been boring I don't understand why I became friends with you"
Liana said.

*Present*

I straightened my hair put my pink crop top on with high waisted blue jeans on, also with my pink vans to match my crop top. I go down stairs to see my dad sitting there drinking his coffee and reading the news paper. My mom died when I was 11 in a car accident.

"Hey dad what u doing today," I asked.

" Nothing pumpkin I got work today at 9 to midnight. So will u be alright alone at dinner?" he asked

" Yeah I be fine I might go to library or something after school," I said.

" Go out with some friends or go to the football game that tonite," he said.

" I'll think about it but Jenny and James are waiting for me," I said. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and grabbed my car keys.

Jenny is a friend I met recently and James is like my gay best friend I knew since I was 5. He never liked Liana i never knew why but I guess I can see now.

I got to my school and parked my car. Then a car zoomed to the parking space next to me. I saw it was Liana and some boy.

" Just because your my older brother doesn't mean you got to be a dick", Liana said to the boy.

" well if u wasn't a dumb ass u would've had your car," he shouted back. I giggled but I giggled loud. I was acting like I was grabbing my bag but hearing there conversation. I coughed to cover my giggle.

" What so funny bitch" Liana looked at me. I turn around to see Liana , me and the boy locked eyes. I stuttered, " I -I -I well my voice was scratchy sorry".

" I-i-i don't care," she mimicked.

I walked away , I didn't know Liana had a brother. I thought she was the only child. That's why she came to my place all the time I never met her mom or dad.

I get in the building to see Jenny and James.

" hey guys" I said but they both drooling behind me.

" hello you guys you okay" I waved my hand in front of there eyes. I turned around to see who they were looking at an it was liana's brother I couldn't help but to stare to. Then he turned to look at me I hurried out of my trance and act like I was talking to Jenny and James.

" YOU GUYSS!!" I yelled at them.

" who dropped that angel out of the sky because damn papi" James said. Jenny giggles.

" or who brought that devil I like to play with him" Jenny said. I rolled my eyes.

" can you guys stop drooling let's go to class" I said. Pushing them to first period.

We get in first period and he walks in.
" wtffffff" i said in my head. Jenny and James still drooling.

4 hours later

I get in lunch every table filled up even mine. I go to far right table where most of the geeks are I sit on the end. I'm not even hungry. Then he comes over and sits across from me.

" what's your name" he said.

" Karissa you?" I asked.

" Nate" he said. I look around and every body staring.

" You new" I asked.

" yes my parents said I can come back to public school. I was in military school since I was 14" he said.

" damn was you that bad" I said.

" oh you don't even know" he said.

" damn that bad what you do" I asked.

" Liana dad is a piece of shit he hits my mom , so one night I blew up his car. So he convinced my mom to send me to military school and of course she did" he said.

" wait what happened with ur dad" I asked.

" NATE WHAT YOU DOING SITTING WITH HER" Liana yelled at him.

" Liana shut up I can talk to who I want" he said and blinked at me I blushed.

" ughhhhhh" Liana growled and left.

" why she like that for" he asked.

" I was her best friend and she turned into a bitch" I said. He laughed.
