"Ice Princess!"
"Dragon Breath!"

Gray and Natsu were in the guild, fighting as usual, but things started to escalate.
"Ha! I bet you can't even solve 2 + 2 You absolute dumbass!"
"Ooh! Glad to know that totally real college education of yours is paying off!"
"Wow, great comeback. That douche attitude is why you have no friends!"
"I have no friends?! I know sure as hell on one would want to be your friend fatty! You ever heard of a diet?!"
This caused everyone to go silent.
Natsu may be a very optimistic person, but he has always been self-conscious about his weight.
It wasn't even his fault. He was just born that way. He's tried diets and health routines and everything, but he's still just a little on the chubby side.
Natsu looked down, his tears threatening to stream down his face at any moment. He ran out of the guild, heading straight for home.
All eyes were on Gray as he slowly started to realize what he said.
His eyes widened and he ran out after Natsu.
After searching around for a while, he decided the only pace he could be is his house.
He walked up to the small cottage and knocked on the door.
No answer.
"Natsu?" Gray called out and knocked again.
"Natsu?!"
The Ice mage heard a faint sniffle from inside.
"Natsu, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to, I swear!"
No response.
"I know you're in there! Please come out so I can talk to you! I'm really sorry Natsu!"
"*sniff* Go away..." The pink-haired male mumbled.
Gray sighed in defeat and dragged his back to his own home.

Gray's P.O.V
"Hey Happy, how come Natsu hasn't come to the guild? He's not still upset is he?" I ask, getting concerned for my best friend.
"I don't really know. He's locked himself in our house. He won't even let me in!"
I sigh in defeat. "Thanks anyway..."
I guess I should try to go to his house again...I figured he needed some space but if he won't let Happy in something must be really wrong.
I trudge through the very small forest until I see Natsu's house in the distance.
I slowly approach the wooden structure, which probably isn't the best material to make it out of, and knock three times.
"What do you want?" Natsu snaps. His voice sounded weak.
"Please, Natsu. Open the door. I'm really really sorry! Let me talk to you! Please?" I nearly begged.
There was shuffling inside until I heard a click and the door slowly freaked open.
I gasp and took a step back.
Natsu was thin and boney. I could see his ribs through his skin and his face looked terrible. He looked tired with bags under his eyes and his lower lip was trembling.
"Natsu...?"
"I-Is this...a-am I...Do I look...good...?" He stuttered, his voice raspy and trembling
I release the breath I didn't know I was holding in and grabbed Natsu's shoulders.
I pulled him close to my chest and we collapsed onto the ground.
He started sobbing as I gently pet his hair.
"W-What happened..?" I ask.
"I was fat...I was so so fat...now I'm not! I-I'm...I'm thin! I look good now, right?"
"Natsu...I'm so sorry...you weren't fat. You were just a little chubby but that's what made you so cute..." I say, my voice breaking.
"C-Cute..?"
"I-...I mean...maybe..." I blush slightly.
No! You shouldn't be blushing! This is serious! Snap out of it!! Bad Gray! Bad, bad Gray!
Natsu smiles. "Cute..."
I uncontrollably grab his chin and gently put my lips onto his.
No, no, no! We just went over this! What are you doing Gray?! Stop it! Bad, bad, bad!!!
We slowly part and I look to see him smiling.
He...liked it?!?!
He stared at me until he finally spoke up. "I-I...love you..." he mumbles.
WHAAAAAAA!!!! WHAT DO I DO NOW. HE ACTUALLY LIKES ME BACK?!?! CALM DOWN, GRAY, CALM DOWN!! SCREW IT!! THERE'S NO CALMING DOWN!! EJEBSKEBOQNSBSUEVKEB!!!!!
Natsu, my internal panic attack, chuckles and kisses me again.
We part, blush dusting both of our cheeks.
"How about we go to my place and eat all the food in my fridge? Because I love you just the way you always were, and I don't want that to change..." I smile.
He gives me his signature grin. "Thank you, Gray..."
