Chapter 12

~Athena's POV~

I listened to the song Wait by M83. Because i am waiting for the day i can be normal again. I Tapped the beat of the song as the music flooded my ears through my head phones. I sat at my desk waiting for an answer. Because all i do it wait, wait for the perfect moment to seek to be normal.

"Athena." Mitch said pulling off my head phones.

"What?" I asked sighing.

"You seem down, you alright?"

"I want to be normal again."

Mitch sighed and crossed his arms. "Lets go somewhere, the park or something."

"I'm fine Mitch,Just-leave me alone i need to think right now."

"Athena you have been in you're room for 3 days strait whats wrong?"

"I want to get my powers removed okay?!"

"Athena, you are perfect just the way you are, there is no need to change anything about you."

"Mitch i don't want to be killed, It's happened to other people before."

"But this is who you are." He whispered as he took a few steps closer to me as i could feel his breath.

"But this is what i want." I said loosely placing my hand on his shoulder. Mitch ginned as he put his arms around my waist pulling me so our bodies touched. I smiled looking into his eyes. I could now feel his breath on my lips. He pulled me closer if that was ever possible, and leaned his head close to my ear.

"I love you Athena. Will you be my girl friend?" He whispered sending chills down my back.

"Of course." I Said meeting his gaze once again. He closed the gap and gave a short gentle kiss.

"I-Um have to record." I said not breaking our gaze.

"Me to." Mitch whispered but never removed his arms from my waist.

"Mitch-" I asked "Sh baby girl i need to take in you're beauty."

"But-"

"Sh..."

After a while of looking deeply into each others eyes he finally spoke up

"Lets go to dinner." He said holding my hand and walking out. I was currently wearing some skinny jeans, a nice top with some vans.

"That was fun." I said as we walked in the park. I felt a wet cold drop hit my face sending chills down my spine. It started to rain harder, we were in the middle of the park and we stopped. He quickly pulled me into a kiss. I closed my eyes letting the rain in gulf us, we were closer than ever. I jumped up placing my legs around him keeping him warm as the rain got colder.

"You're beautiful." He whispered breaking the kiss.
