Chris's POV

I stopped the car in Jasmine's driveway and looked towards her. She was fast asleep, with her hair splayed across her face. Her lips were parted, eyes shut lightly, and she was breathing quietly, lost in some dreamless stupor.

I couldn't believe that this beautiful girl was finally mine. I had no idea I would be telling her my feelings today. But after hearing her story, it awakened something in me. I just had to tell her. She knows I love her, but she still doesn't know how crazy I am for her. And when she said she loves me too, it took me much self control to not smash my lips against hers. I didn't want to scare her too much.

I sat there for a long time and watched my girl sleep. The sun was setting in the horizon and it splashed it's red hue on her breathtaking face. I tucked her hair behind her ear and pressed a lingering kiss on her forehead. She moved and groaned and soon fluttered her eyes open. Her innocent eyes blinked at me and a shy smile broke on her face. She turned her face to hide her blush.

"No. Don't turn your face from me, love. You look cute when you blush." My comment made her blush further. I chuckled.

She looked outside and realised we were in her driveway. Her eyes widened and she fumbled on the seatbelt to get out.

"What's wrong?" I asked, worried.

"We are in front of my house! What if my parents come out? We can't do this here!" She yelled.

I couldn't help but laugh at her cuteness. "Relax Princess, no one's going to come out and see us. And even if they do, they won't spot us inside. The glasses are tinted."

She sighed in relief and slumped in her seat. I took a hold of her hand and laid it on my lap.

"Thank you so much Jas." I said sincerely.

"For what?" She asked, confused.

"For giving me a chance. For taking my feelings into consideration. I know your past hasn't been good to you, and I honestly thought it was going to take much more for me to break your walls. But you gave me a chance to prove my feelings for you. Trust me, I won't let you down."

She gave a heartwarming smile and I melted. Literally.

"There's nothing to thank me for. You started breaking my walls since the first day. It took me a long time to realise that, but I don't regret anything. I love you, and that's all that matters." She said.

"I love you too, Princess. So much." I whispered and kissed her nose. She giggled and blushed.

"I think I should head out. Mom and Dad would be worried." She said and I sighed. I didn't want her to go but I knew it was inevitable.

"Aww are you pouting?" She cooed at me.

I scoffed. "Me? Pout? Not a chance baby."

"Yeah right. By the way, you look cute when you pout." She said and laughed.

"I so donot pout." I said and turned my face. She pulled my cheek, and I couldn't help but smile.

"Don't worry, our rooms are opposite to each other. You can call me anytime you want." She said.

A light bulb went inside my head. "Anytime?" I smirked and she nodded.

"What about when you're changing and I-"

"Okay stop! Not anytime. You know what I mean." She blushed furiously.

I pulled her cheeks and said, "Aww! I'm kidding, Jas. Relax."
