~Pond House, 6 In The Morning~

River and Sarah Jane were sitting on a bench outside the house waiting for The Doctor and talking.

"So... how did you meet John?" River asked.

"It was... sort of a long story." Sarah Jane said looking up at the stars. "John was a spy in training, and I sneaked into his room."

"Really?" River laughed. "Did anyone try and shoot you?"

"No, I am a journalist, this job can get out out of just about every problem."

River laughed. "Wow, John just let you slide I assume, did anyone else see you?"

"I hid in a room attached to his, he didn't give me away." Sarah Jane laughed. "What about you?"

"I met him at school, scared him out of his bow tie." River smiled. "Wait.. you are like twenty! I've known John for eight years! You were twelve! You met him before I did! How were you a journalist?"

"I am a genius?" Sarah Jane joked.

"How old were you when you met him?"

"Young..." Sarah Jane jumped up as a blue car came up the road.

~John and Clara, Two Hours Ago~

John pulled over at a cafe.

"Alex said she'd be here with the new car in twenty minutes." Clara grinned and ran inside. "How much longer of a drive is it?"

"An hour and a half if we're lucky." John took her hand and spun her around. "Tea and jammie dodgers?"

Clara laughed and took a seat, "If that's what you want."

John was jumpier then Clara had ever seen him before as he ran to the counter and ordered for the both of them and returned to Clara. "I can only imagine what Amy and Jack are doing... they have probably been partying all night."

"Jack... the cute one?"

"No! Don't!" John said seriously. "Jack is bad news."

"Doesn't he have the same job as you?" Clara asked careful not to say anything that would give them away.

"Yes, Alli. Well, no. Well, actually it's complicated." John said.

"He does, you just want to be the only cool one, ha!"

John smirked. "I am cool."

Clara rolled her eyes. "Just how big is your family anyways, Tommy?"

"Big!" John laughed and then spoke in a hushed tone so nobody except Clara could hear him. "Amelia and Rory Pond, Sarah Jane Smith, Gwen Cooper and Jack Harkness, Rose Tyler and John Ten, and River... River Song."

"Only eight people then." Clara laughed. "But then again, I only have six people in mine."

"Well, it's not to late to invite Donna Noble, Micky Smith, and Martha Jones."

"Oh, Tommy, you act like such a lonely man but you have such a big family!" Clara shook her head.

"I am lonely. But now always." John said. "I'm not lonely now."

"Because now you have me?"

"Yes!" John leaned over the table and pecked her lips. They had kissed a million times, when you are a spy you have to commit. That means acting your role, and that is what they did. And of course, the kisses meant nothing to either of them.

If they had to act like siblings, they would argue nonstop. If they were married, they would even wear rings. And every now and then they don't even know each other at all.

Being a spy was much like being an actor, except if you get caught, you die. And John and Clara were experts at almost dying.  Which is why they need tons of disguises, so people wouldn't notice them, because they nearly failed before.

A man gave them their order, not that they were paying attention.

Just then Alex ran through the doors and over to them, handed Clara a set of keys and sighing. "Pretty blue car , right out front."

"You are amazing, Alex!" John grinned.

Alex was their boss's daughter. She would do their shopping and make sure they had anything and everything they needed.

She stole a jammie dodger and took a bite of it. "I know! I haven't slept in three days and I haven't eaten since yesterday."

"Poor you." Clara patted the seat next to her. "Take a seat."

"I can't. I don't have time. I have to train three more people and Mother expects them to be better then you." Alex grinned. "But I do not see how that is possible."

Clara and John chuckled. "Take our food and some tea, we should be on our way now, anyways."

"Thanks, but I really have to go."

"Eat and drive!" John grabbed the plate and tea and brought them to the van they had driven in the the cafe.

Alex chuckled. "Bye, love. Have a nice vacation."

"Don't work yourself to hard!" Clara shouted out the shop door as she payed for everything.

Clara walked out of the cafe and waved as Alex drove off.

"Come alone!" John ran to the car.

"My turn to drive!" Clara pouted.

John shook his head. "Not going to happen."

Clara opened the passanger door and slid into the driver's seat. "You have no choice.

So John got it and by time they got onto the highway John was excited again. "An hour and a half to go!"

"Yay!" Clara said and started singing Grenade by Bruno Mars.

John danced... failed dancing... with his hands flying around like... god knows what.

Clara laughed as she saw him out of the corner of her eye. "You dance like an idiot."

"I am an idiot." John grinned over at her.

Clara laughed and continued singing. "I'd go through all this pain! Take a bullet straight through my bain! Yes, I would die for you, baby, but would you do the same?"

"Yes!" John started jumping up and down in his seat.

"Stop shaking the damn car!" Clara demanded. John froze making her laugh again.

"Can I buy a fez?"

Clara raised her eyebrow. "No."

"But fezzes are cool!"

"No... just no..."
