Chapter 6- Homecoming

BEEP... BEEP... BEEP BEEP... BEEP

As my annoying alarm clock goes off, I reach over and like always throw it across the room. I try my best to get up this morning... I take my shower and stay in there an extra 5minutes. I follow my daily routine to get ready for school. Instead of going straight downstairs after I got dress. I stayed in my room for a while on my phone. Looking down at the screen of my phone I notice 25 messages from Bryan. This is unusual because there's never something that important he has to text me. I slide the bar to unlock quickly type in my password and read the messages that said

"Hey, Goodmorning Gabriella unfortunately you might know that the Homcoming dance is coming up and I was wanted you to go with me!! 😁💙 Will you be my date?"

As fast as I could I text back "Sure that's what girl bestfriends are for lol😘" I try my best not to seem like I was waiting for him to ask. As fast as I could I grabbed my backpack ran downstairs kissed Má and dashed into the car with Annalisa.

We finally approach North Springs and like always Jessica is at the front door. Not paying her any attention we rapidly walk past her and her girls when we did "Here comes a slut and her slut friend." said one I the girls with Jessica as they laugh "You words hurt when it comes from an human being like you." Annalisa said... "Come on Annalisa" I said trying not to make a scene. "Why do you always walk away from them Gabriella, when are you ever going to stand up to them" "I don't know when I do Annalisa" I replied to her as we head to our lockers

1st period

BEEP BEEP- sound of our Principle getting ready to do announcements on the intercom

"North Spring students if you haven't marked you calendars tomorrow is HOMECOMING! I can't wait to see many of you with you dates and shine bright like a diamond out there" "Did this nigga really just say shine bright like a diamond" said this boy

*class begin to laugh*

"Now let's take our moment of silence for one of our former students Hannah Chuckles"

*as was sat for a good 5minutes all I began to hear was a girl crying from a distance, I notice it was her sister*

" R.I.P Hannah" said the principle as he finished the announcements

My first 4 periods passed and now it's lunch. I look over to see Bryan with Jessica...never seen that before

"Aye Gabriella" said Bryan running up to me in the line

"Hey how come you wasn't in first period or any where to be found."

"Oh I was busy this morning" he said

"Okay but I can't wait for homecoming tomorrow what colors should we wear" I replied

As soon as I said homecoming he could no longer look at me.... "Oh about that I kinda been promised Jessica I would..." Bryan said

I stopped him before he finished "Oh okay that's cool I don't care, have fun" I said walked away like I didn't care wiping away a tear or two.

Letting the day go by Annalisa and I sat in my room as I cried a little because of the good news that turned into bad.

"I just can't believe a best friend would do something so envy like this"

"Gabriella not everyone is a best friend an despicably not him, he's an dochebag"

I wipe away a tear and start laughing at the fact Annalisa said dochebag. "Your right!" I said

We share our "I love you's"and hug each other to cheer one another up like any other friend.

Spending the rest of our Friday night watching movies on Netflix eating lots of candy and tubs of Chocolate ice cream. I quietly ask Annalisa "What would I do without you." "I don't know I wonder what." she said.
