Getting closer

Edd POV

           I sat up quickly, almost puking from the fast movement. "Matt?" I asked, tears forming in my eyes. "Oh my God, Edd! Your alive!" Matt cried, he set the soup down and hugged me, very tightly, "I was so worried about you" I wrapped my arms around the ginger, tears rolled down my cheeks.

I cried into Matt's shoulder for a few minutes, muttering things like 'I though you died' and 'I'm so happy' y'know really cheesy stuff. After I calmed down I let go of Matt. "I have food for you, Eddie!" Matt grabbed the soup bowl and put it in my lap. "Thanks, Matt!" I said, wiping my eyes. Matt smiled and walked over to doctor Alex. The spoke for a while. I ate my tomato soup while eavesdropping on their conversation. 

~☆Three days later☆~

           I was finally better, I could leave the medical room. Matt visited me every day until I got better. I was currently walking down the hallway with Matt. He was taking me to his room. We walked until Matt stopped at a door and opened it. We walked inside and it was really nice, the carpet was a pastel purple and the walls were pale yellow. "So, Tord said that he would help me put in a bunk bed so we can share the room!"

"That's great, Matt!" I responded. "Where am I gonna sleep until then?" Matt went over to the couch and pulled it out. "You're going to sleep in my bed, I'm going to sleep on the couch." I looked at Matt's bed. "Yeah, okay.." I didn't really want to take his bed but I didn't want to turn such a nice offer down.

Me and Matt talked and hung out for the rest of the day. When it came dinner time he and I walked to the cafeteria together. We ate at the same table and talked even more. When we finished our food we agreed to go to bed, we walked to his room. He turned the lights off and laid on the couch. "Goodnight Eddie.." Matt yawned. I laid on his bed and drifted to sleep.

~☆one in the morning☆~

I woke up due to thunder and lightning. It was loud and disrupting my rest. I laid back down and slowly smiled. I waited until the next loud rumble of thunder. When it came I jumped up and went to Matt. I shook him until he woke up. "Matt, the thunder is scary." I said, pretending to be frightened by the noises, "Can I sleep with you?" 

Matt's POV 

           I was shook awake, I opened my eyes and saw Edd. "Matt, the thunder is scary" he said, looking scared, "Can I sleep with you?" I smiled and lifted the blankets, making room for him. I snuggled up next to me and rested his head against my chest. I blushed and smiled at him, wrapping my arms around his smol body. "I love you." I mumbled.
