My horse trots silently through the forest. Behind me is my party. About 20 men.

Strange noises have been heard from the depths of the forest. General Frosteye the 11th has sent us out to find the source, and to take action if necessary.

Though our kingdom is strong we do not have any miners. So instead we wear what we find in the forest. We wear cloaks made of Yunderlope hides. Strong, large creatures with thin but durable hide. We wear boots made of leather. Pants made of Silverstem, a shirts made of Greyleafs. Occasionally we wear wood padding.

We carry bows and arrows, and an extra dagger just in case we run out of arrows.

My horse leans backwards almost causing me to fall off. I get off and without warning my horse, Greensun, leaves me. I tell the others to tie their horses to the trees. I can hear a noise ahead.

My brother Irkrath runs to me.

"Windertun... what are we doing?"

"There's a noise ahead... get to the trees... I plan to ambush."

"Yes brother." I take my bow and put an arrow in the string. I plant myself against the side if a tree. A leaf hits my head. They're in position.

I hold my hand out in a position that looks like a fist with my pointer and middle finger sticking out.

I turn the corner and they jump down.

Nothing.

The only thing we find is a fire.

"Put this out... we don't want another forest fire." They nod. Recently a dragon set part of the northern region on fire. We nearly lost the Kingdom.

I walk through around the fire until something catches my eye.

Shields.

Two of them are buried under the grass. Carefully I walk to them and get on one knee.

"The Ironkin," I say. "These are Ironkin swords... there was a battle here."

"Windertun!"

"Yes Irkrath?" I look for his voice and I find it in a tree.

"Come here brother!" Quickly I climb up. I take my place next to my brother.

"What do you see?" He points north. I squint my eyes. For a moment I see nothing. Then fire can be seen.

"Dragon," I say. I jump down from the tree.

"Lingren!"

"Yes Sir Windertun?"

"Take this news to Lord Frosteye... set up the defenses. We will return before the full moon or be pronounced dead for we are off to fight a dragon."

"Yes Sir Windertun!" Lingren then rides off back to Frost Kingdom.

I put my bow on my back.

"Oropine! Take the rest of the men to battle. Due to the loss of my horse I will take the trees."

"Yes Sir Windertun! Behind me!" He rides and the rest of my men follow. I climb a tree and with dagger in hand I sprint through branches, and over leaves. Below me I can hear the sound of hooves and we go to battle.
