A Change In Direction (a One Direction fan fiction)

Prologue

Introduction:

~Liam's POV~

"You five are going to university". The words couldn't stop ringing in my ears. I am living the dream and yet I already felt like it was crushed. The boys and I are already so successful, why do we need to have a proper education after all the stuff we've been through? I know none of us are keen on the idea but management thinks it is important for us. I mean.... we just finished our world tour and they wanted us to attend college in the U.S for a whole year. As if they could have possibly expected us to pack our bags and move over there for a year. Are they crazy?

~Louis' POV~

I could tell by the look on the other boy's faces that they weren't happy either. I don't want to move away from my family or Eleanor! Everyone knows I am a family guy, so how can I be expected to go along with this idea. I'm gonna have to bring a whole suitcase of Yorkshire tea if I want to survive this year. I'm up for something new, just on the other side of the world.... that's a little strange in my opinion. And that's coming from me.

~Harry's POV~

My thoughts were interrupted when management continued to say that we would be leaving in two weeks as we need time to unpack and settle in before the semester began. It was going to be weird putting aside the fame for the year to be a regular person. We will still be recording of course, just no concerts and tours. The thought haunts me. I love my life and I don't want it to change at all. I'm living my dream. But hey.... There will always be hot girls there!

~Zayn's POV~

I was in so much shock. The words were running through my mind as well as the thousands of thoughts. I don't know what to think of this. And just as I thought it could get any worse, the last part of the news was spilled.

"And you will all be sharing a flat."

I felt my mouth drop. I love the boys to pieces, but I enjoy my own space at times. Now I know that the upcoming year will be filled with pranks and laughs and there will be no way to escape it, I guess I better get ready for the ride.

~Niall's POV~

When I heard the words spoken, I couldn't help but laugh. This was gonna be great. I mean, I could tell the lads weren't exactly in favour of the idea but I didn't really understand why. I love my job and I am thankful for all the opportunities I have had in life but it all gets pretty tiring. This next year will be full of parties, girls and most importantly food. Although it might be hard to go a year without Nandos'. Oh and seeing my family of course.
