Thousands of years ago in what is now modern day Ireland a young boy was born, his name was Ailbe Ronan. He had the ability to travel from dimension to dimension easily and without taking any damage to himself and the real world. This brought the Ronan family a lot of unwanted attention, to the fact that his parents got fed up with the attention that the faked Ailbe's death and locked him away. When people would ask they said that he was feeding one of the horses and it attacked him, they said they cremated him and kept his ashes in the family safe.
As Ailbe grew up he managed to get more control over his power, when he moved out he changed his name to Connor Ronalds and married. When he found out his children carried the gift he created a secret family organization known as The Dimension Walkers and they served the government until a man named Allroy O'Malley found out about the organization.
He thought it was madness and that he was putting everyone in danger so he did what he thought was right. One night he snuck into the base and started a fire killing almost everyone including himself. Only a young girl named Ria survived and she fled to America where she would live and care for her unborn child.
She made sure to never tell the child about their gift and they would stay safe, and that was the last anyone had ever heard of The Dimension Walkers, but some people say they are still out there serving some countries government in secret making sure no threats enter this dimension.

FantasyI started wrighting about this and I was unaware that there was a anime/manga made. I only found out about it a few weeks ago when I was almost done with the book.
