Yoongi was looking for his favourite japanese drink when his phone suddenly buzzed in his pocket, his bodly fliching slightly. He just assumed it was Nomjoon-hyung, however he was proven to be quite wrong.
It was Hoseok.
Yoongi didn't really have a choice but to answer, he didn't want to seem rude.
"hello? Yoongi?" Hoseok said. Yoongi had never heard his voice before, but it was so cute, he sounded so innocent. "h-hi Hoseok." Yoongi said back, his cheeks redening as he stood staring at the collection of sweets. "this might sound a little creepy but... did you just walk past my apartment, i was sat on the window-ledge chatting to one of my friends and your mint hair caught my eye." Hoseok asked, curious. "a-actually i did, yes..." Yoongi replied. "oh, sorry for calling you, i should've let you call me instead..." Hoseok's voice saddened under regret. "no it's fine, i see why you called me haha." Yoongi giggled, his cheeks still red.
"so, what you doing?" Hoseok asked, "oh, i'm just shopping, i was hungry so i went for a few snacks haha." Yoongi said, feeling a little embarrased that he just admitted that. "oh cool! i went there earlier, it's got a good choice of different sweets! especially the japanese ones!" Hoseok laughed. "oh? you're into japanese food too?" Yoongi was surprised. "uhuh! wow! we have so much in common hehe." Yoongi blushed.
"h-hey... umm... i was wondering... could i come over to yours for a while? i'm picking up a lot of sweets, it would be greedy to eat them all..." Yoongi rubbed the back of his head, leaning against the wall. "huh? yeah totally! i have a bit myself too!" Hoseok snickered. "okay! i'll be over in about ten, is there anything you want me to get you?" Yoongi offered. "oh no no no no, no need to do that! i already have enough anyways!"
"alright then, i'll head over when i'm done! see you Hobi!"
"bye bye!"
And the call was ended. Yoongi closed his eyes and smiled, holding his phone close to his chest. "i finally get to meet him!" he thought.
-------------------
Yoongi held his fist against the room number 4, he took a deep breath in, and smiled as he knocked. he had to wait around ten seconds before the door was being unlocked.
"Yoongi! hi!" Hoseok smiled brightly, his eyes closing due to his huge smile. "hi! i brought the snacks!" Yoongi giggled. "yay!" Hoseok acted as though he was still a child, Yoongi thought it was cute. but he couldn't blush now, Hoseok would think he was weird.
"come in! it's still a work in progress, but it's getting there i guess!" Hoseok shut the door for Yoongi as his eyes wandered around the pretty small apartment. Well it only made sense since he lived alone. "nah, it's cute." Yoongi complemented. Hoseok rubbed a hand behind his neck, "haha, thanks." he said, his ears turning a faint red, but Yoongi coudn't see it.
"just put the bags on the coffee table over there." Hoseok pointed, and Yoongi followed, placinig the white bags on it. he only had two, but each one had at least 5 items in each, some big and some small, different weights adding up. "you know, you look smaller than i thought you would be. not to be rude or anything haha, my friend is even smaller than you!" Hoseok giggled. "yeah, i get that a lot." Yoongi smiled back and he took his coat off. "just put that on the hanger." Hoseok said.
After they had both settled in, placing all the food on the table, they sat together to chat for a while, maybe to get to know one another. "so, i'm 26 years old now." Yoongi said, taking a sip from a charmander fizzy drink. "oh, you look younger than that! i'm 25, so only a one year difference! it's not much! i have a friend named jugkook who is almost 23 now, so it's nice to have a friend similar of age."
"i have a friend who's 25 also, he's called Namjoon, i'm sure i've metioned him?" Yoongi asked, more to himself rather than Hoseok. "yeah, you have. he seems nice!" Hoseok said. "he is."
"so hey, what do you want to do?" Hoseok asked, thinking deeply afterwards. "hmm, film?" Yoongi suggested. "sure! anything but horror because that's pretty embarassing. i'm a scardy-cat..." Hoseok blushed. "me too, don't worry about it! but, i do love stranger things though!" Yoongi smiled. "seriously!?" Hoseok jumped up, obviously excited. "oh my god same!" Hoseok almost screamed for some reason. "Dustin is my favorite character." Hobi said. "hopper is my favorite." Yoongi added. "what season and episode are you up to?" Hoseok wondered.
"uh, i've just started episode one of the new series." Yoongi said, "oh, i've just finnished season two. i havn't started three yet. should we watch it together? do you mind rewatching one episode?" Hoseok sat back down, calming down from his little energy spurt. "yeah sure, i don't mind, it'll be a good recap!"
"oh my god we should binge." Hoseok said quieter, a smug smirk on his face. "oh my god yes." Yoongi looked back, copying the same smile as Hoseok but in his own gummy-smile way. "lets get it." Hoseok cheered, holding his pikachu can up to the air, Yoongi following. "lets get it!"
-------
both of them sat in almost complete silence as the last episodes intro came on, the iconic song playing as the letters of 'stranger things' linked up. Hoseok started humming the tune. "oh my god i'm so excited..." Yoongi said quickly. "me too... But that thing scares me..." Hoseok pouted. "you're not the only one. but i have to say, it's less frightening with someone else with me. it makes me feel safe." Yoongi sighed in relief of having someone next to him to scream with him when he needs it. "yeah, you don't look like the type to get scared right now." Hoseok giggled. "well, you should see me at home." Yoongi laughed at his own little joke before they both stayed quiet again, immersed in the show.
