Many years ago, in this land named Dabia, the wolves of the area were engaged in a Great War. It raged on for years, many lives lost to the cause. The cause has been lost in time but most has been recorded by a human that was accepted into the ranks of these unnatural wolves. She wrote down the history as it happened before her very eyes. She began with the arrival of Ōkami, the goddess of wolves. She appeared to the wolves of the land as a white wolf with two tails and black markings over her body. She spoke with the wolves and showed then their wrongs. She then showed them how to fix their lives and called upon the six most noble wolves in the area. Shisai speaks of the meeting in her writing. "Ōkami called six wolves to her cave. She said I could go in to so I did. I was slightly afraid of the wolves though. They looked larger then normal; their shoulders almost level with mine. Each wolf was a different color. Dark green, deep blue, vibrant red, light purple, sparkling white, and pitch black. Each had intelligent eyes. Ōkami spoke of the earth. She said that by being kind and giving to the earth, it would reward them. She then put mer muzzle to the ground and glowing circles of light appeared in the stone around the wolves. The light grew and surrounded them. Then it died and they all looked around, confused. Ōkami then walked up to each wolf in order and spoke to them. She walked to the green wolf first. She pushed her paw into the ground and lifted a block of stone, making it float to the wolf. The wolf then copied the act and Ōkami moved on. When facing the blue wolf, she pulled water from a small stone bowl and swirled it around the room. Again, the wolf copied and she moved to the red wolf. She asked me to make a fire then she placed a paw into it. When she withdrew her paw, the flame clung to it without burning. She passed it to the other wolf and turned to the purple wolf. A small twister appeared at the paws of Ōkami. She nudged it with her dark nose and the purple wolf made it larger with a touch of his paw. Ōkami turned to the final two wolves and spoke to them. She said that of all the powers she granted today, theirs would be the best and the worst to bare. She then created a sphere of light and a sphere of darkness on each side. She gave the light to the white wolf and the darkness to the black wolf. She told them all that the gift would be passed down to one male wolf in each generation and they would always be the alphas. She then backed up and faced me. She gave me a gift and a word of advise. Then she walked out of the cave and disappeared." That was the last time Shisai saw Ōkami. Shisai often spoke of how the wolves worked with their gifts. Each wolf left the area and chose a place for a pack. They protected their kind with their gifts.
In many years time, Shisai was called to the meeting of packs. The wolves spoke to her for the first time in her many years. Their muzzles didn't move and their voices seemed to come from their entire bodies. Shisai also wrote about it. "For the first time in my many years, the pack leaders brought me to one of their emergency meeting. Their voices were odd and very wild. There was a small bundle of cloth at the feet of the blue wolf's paws. It squirmed and made small noises until the wolf growled at it. The white and black wolves stood side by side and spoke to the entire group. 'We have been gathered by the wolves of the water to discuss this new, evil matter.' The white wolf nodded to the blue to speak. 'As you all well know, the pups were recently brought to us in the night. Of my litter, I received two male pups and three females. Of these, only one was of my fur.' The other wolves murmured in annoyance of this trivial matter until the blue wolf spoke again. 'This pup that was of my fur, was a female.' The gathered wolves spoke at once, all arguing that a female of fur was against Ōkami's words. The blue wolf lowered his nose and pushed over the bundle of cloth to reveal a small blue wolf pup. He then made it roll over to show it was truly a female. The wolves howled in outrage. A female? Of fur? This was impossible! The wolves spoke of killing the mistake but the wolf of black spoke for it. 'I say we keep it. A wolf of fur is of fur; wether it is male or female. If none of you will care for it, I will. My pack will care for the creature until it is of age then we will all take it to the mountain were Ōkami first appeared and chain it. From there, the goddess will dispose of the abomination. We will also take the woman with us.' He took me with the pup into the bone yard. He threw the small creature into a small pit. I sat at the pits edge and spoke to the pup. I told it of everything that had happened in my extended life time. And it sat and listened. It nodded at certain things and growled in annoyance at others. I'm still not sure why I spoke with it I just felt...like it was like me. Like this small, blue pup would understand my troubles. Then I spoke of Ōkami and the gifts. The pup tilted it's head and turned to the wall of the pit. It raised onto it's hind legs and brought it's front paws down, pushing them into the earth and causing a spiral staircase up the side of the pit. The pup then trotted up then and payed next to me with it's head in my lap. I was astounded. A wolf of blue fur did a feat of a wolf of green fur. No wolf of fur could ever do anything outside it's color. This wolf was amazing. This wolf was dangerous. This wolf would be killed." Shisai wouldn't talk about the blue wolf again until her final entry. In that time, the wolf was raised in The Pack of Darkness. It was tortured and denied of food and water. It was never named or loved. It's fur became matted and rough. Her eyes lost color and she because vicious. She would attack without warning and kill without thinking. Shisai was killed in a rockslide before the pup became of age. He journal was found in a alcove in a large cave near The Pack of Light. She was never buried or found under the rocks for soon after, a small battle broke out between the packs. The blue wolf's journey had only just begun.
