Deep in the mountains of Dabia in a small cabin, a young woman brought a baby boy into the cursed world. She named it Senshi. Senshi was strong and grew stronger as he cared for his sickly mother. At the age of seven, his mother passed. He grieved for weeks until one day while leaving to fetch water, he came across a small tan egg hidden in a fallen tree. He carefully took it home and set it on the hearth. It began to shake violently. He grew afraid, fearing for the egg and not himself. Cracks appeared across the surface of the egg and small squeaks came from it. Without thinking, Senshi rushed forward and wedged the point of his knife under a large section of the egg. He pushed on it and pried it off, revealing a squirming, scaled body. The creature moved until it's golden eyes fell on Senshi. Senshi fell backwards, surprised by the infinite wisdom the golden eyes held. The creature fully emerged from the tan egg and shook it's self. It's tan scales clinked quietly together. It spread it's thin wings and laid down near the flames. Senshi sheathed his knife and lightly touched the broken egg. The scaled creature looked over at him, snorting soot. Senshi moved his hand and ran a fingernail over the small creatures spine. The creature purred lowly. A dragon. Of all the creatures for me to find, a dragon. Hachūrui will have my life for this. If he finds out that is. Senshi smirked at his personal joke. He chose to raise the creature and named him Tokage. He trained the small dragon and it grew. It grew so much it soon towered over Senshi before his growth slowed. Senshi took Tokage to a far away shaman, a woman named Shisai. The woman for told of a great battle that would rage in the sky's. A battle to change the fate of the world and save the humans. She said that he, Senshi, would ride into battle on an armored dragon and defeat Hachūrui. Senshi was astonished. He was a hunter, a survivor but not a knight. He voiced this to Shisai. She then showed him that his name meant knight. He was destined. She told him of an armor smith who could fashion some armor for Tokage. They traveled and had it made, then flying for the battle that was sure to rage. They fought bravely and killed the great dragon. The others, surprised by the death of their leader, bowed to Senshi and Tokage. Tokage roared to the sky, showing that he was the one to vanquish the tyrant. He pushed out his chest and Senshi sat tall on his back. They would usher the world into a new age of peace. The wolves had only recently joined in this world. None had any idea how much power these small, furred beasts had. Most dragons left Dabia, flying for hotter places. Some stayed to keep peace and help the recovering humans. Yet, unknown by human or beast in a tiny hidden cave, a large blue egg sat dormant, the creature inside fast asleep.
