Don't know if this idea was done before.
Au- some bnha characters are merfolk others are human, pirates, or sirens.
Sirens: sirens are described to be half-human, half-fish. They lure in sailors by their music and they devour the sailors.
This au sirens: Half-human, half-fish. They can change into a human, but one of their eyes will have scales surrounding it. They can lure you in by singing. They have powers that focus on the brain. For example, they can mess with your memories, or mess up your brain.
Merfolk: Half-human half-fish. Too many cultures use them for me to get an exact description.
Merfolk in this au: They are Half-human half-fish. They summon storms to drown or make a ship shipwreck or lure sailors off track. Kinder than sirens
How would their personalities change?
Example:
Sirens: more stealthy, secretive, and Seductive.
Pirates: They will be more greedy, bribed a tiny bit easier (but only for high amounts of economy), and more merciless.
Humans: They won't have powers, so less judgemental on powers.
Merfolk: They are a tad bit nicer, somewhat territorial, and Seductive.
