Part 6 Tension Everywhere

Hello friends! Sorry for the late update since I was gonna update two days before but somehow everything I typed didn't saved.. I had to rewrite all this again in two days and as a compensation the update is 9,000 words instead of 8,000.. And also, Happy Eid to all of you :) Enjoy...

Arnav: "I love her a lot and I have already promised my self to keep her forever with me and be her happiness.." Arnav gives a long dreamy look to Khushi hoping that soon he would make her fall in love with him and confess his feelings but only if time could tell that a man shall never keep hopes being in illusion which is gonna get crystal clear soon..

Raizada Mansion (Delhi) - Kitchen

Ratna was chopping fruits while being lost in the thoughts of Arshi to get married... What if her son doesn't agree to marry Khushi? And that girl is perfect for her son being rich, beautiful, modern, educated, and what not.. She anyhow need to make Arnav get married to Khushi because it's best for everyone and especially for this family well maintained reputation and class.. Before Arnav gets involved with a middle class girl exclaiming that he wants to get married to her then it would be too late so now she need to make him agree to this marriage... 

Anjali comes inside the kitchen and sees her mother lost in some thoughts... She calls Ratna but still don't get any reaction from her so Anjali taps her shoulder bringing her back from Arshi land...

Ratna: "Anju, when did you came?" Anjali looks at her mother astonishingly..

Anjali: "Ma, I came here like 5 minutes ago and kept calling you but you were lost in some thoughts! What happened Ma? Is something bothering you?" Anjali looks at her mother worriedly and puts her hand on her shoulder..

Ratna: "I am fine Anju.. I was thinking about your marriage with Rahul, nothing much.." Ratna looks at Anjali who seems to buy her lie.. She isn't a fool to tell her everything or else Anjali would go and spill the beans in front of Arnav.. She needs to be careful with this matter and who else then her mother-in-law can help her with this..

Anjali: "Okay Ma, you leave all this and come to the dining room where everyone is waiting .. I would tell HP and Chandan uncle (cook) to bring all this.." Ratna nod her head and goes but making sure to start the topic about Arshi marriage in front of everyone..

Raizada Mansion (Delhi) - Dining room

Ratna: "Good morning everyone, I hope you all didn't have any trouble last night (looking at the Guptas, Raichands, and Kashyaps).." Ratna takes her seat next to Arvind and opposite to Subhadra..

Garima: "Not at all Ratna, In fact we are sorry that our girls left all of a sudden.." Garima along with the other two ladies look at her apologetically..  

Ratna(In thought): "Finally, so the topic (Khushi) which I wanted to start talking about is already started by you.. Nod bad! (Ratna smiles and speaks) Not at all Garima, Its completely fine since education is more important and Khushi is grown up into a beautiful girl.." Looks like my aim is targeted right...

Shashi: "Yeah, that's why we were thinking of getting her married to Arnav.. Its her right age to get married and who else better than Arnav is suitable for her.. (Ratna smirks and looks at Subhadra who smirks back) I think we should talk to our kids about this soon and get them marry!" Everyone smiles feeling happy hearing about Arshi alliance.. Except one person who is thinking of how to start a conversation about Payash marriage?
