Hey guys Jack here. My turn.

----------------------------

I laid in bed when I heard a noise outside. I slowly got out from under the covers and crept to my window shaking.

Surprisingly it was cold in house due to mom messing with the thermostat and not knowing how to operate it.

When I looked outside. I saw a bright yellow bus coming down the road to the cove and kids standing in my driveway waiting for it. Among the group of kids was the grey fox that I've been seeing.

He was wearing a blue shirt and bluejeans with a black backpack and was more off to the side away from the others sad...and lonely... I knew how that felt. I was kindda shoved off to the side though. Could he be doing it by choice?

I quickly ran to the nearest box and dug around for a pair of clothes. I eventually found a suitable pair of clothes. A red shirt and a pair of white shorts.

After getting dressed I ran down stairs and threw open my front door, but I was too late. The bus was leaving and going down the street. I scanned the windows to find him sitting in the back.

I rose my hand and waved, but he didn't wave back. Maybe he was to far away to see me...

I went inside and closed the door. I could hear mom digging threw the boxes in the kitchen. I walked in.

"Hey baby. Mind helping find some plates. I'm making waffles." My ears perked up and I started to help her.

Hours passed and it was almost time for school to let out. I sat on the porch waiting patiently.

'What if he doesn't like my due to my colors? I wonder what he's like. I hope he won't run away.' I thought to myself.

"Jack baby! Will you please help me move the table please?" Asked my mother from inside. I sighed and went inside to help her.

I was amazed how fast it was coming along. There were much more empty boxes then full.

The living room was complete. There was a black entertainment center with a flat screen on top of that.

I heard yelling outside and I saw the bus. I immediately ran outside smiling forgetting about what my mother wanted. My markings green. In the group I saw the fox looking down waiting for the bus to move so he could go home.

I walked up to him slowly not wanting to scare him and when I was in front of him we just froze staring at each other. Someone had hit him and blackened his left eye. We just looked at one another. I slowly rose my hand up and carefully waved it.

"H-hi." He said quietly. I didn't know what to do next. I held out my hand for him to take. He slowly took and shook it. I smiled.

I could tell he was uncomfortable, more uneasy. He started to walk away. Waving slightly.

"Goodbye." My ears fell. I never even got his name.

"M...my...my name is...," he slowly turned around looking at me. His eyes wide from my difficulty at talking, "my name is Jack..." I finally said. He smiled.

"My name is Pice." He said holding out a hand. I took it smiling and shook it.

"Wanna...wanna come...in...inside?" I asked slowly. He shook his head.

"Sorry Jack I can't. I have to go home. Maybe if i get done with my work I might." I smiled and nodded as he left waving.

I walked inside. To find my mother smiling in the living room.

"Who was that Jack?" I blushed deeply markings turning pink.

"...Pice...."
