-Lucifer POV-
Are all humans like this - stubborn and hard-headed? Surely they can't all be like my little Elaine here, because she is one of a kind. First, she wants to make a deal, crying about her brother's death, and next she is claiming I am some stalker. For the life of me, I can't follow what she is thinking, but whatever it is, she needs to come along with me. I have too little time to waste on small moments like this, and yet she seems to think nothing of my wasted efforts. Then she went and made me angry, which is a tragedy because seeing a slither of my pure form left her in a fainting spell.
I knew there was a reason why I pulled the car around to the back of the building. The second I noticed Elaine's eyes roll to the back of her head, and the way her body went lax, I braced for her fall. My arms circled her frame and lifted her over my shoulder. For a thick sized woman, she didn't weigh as much as I would have assumed, and yet as my hands fall against her ass cheek and thigh, I can't stop myself from squeezing for my selfish pleasure. If only she would have listened the first time I threatened her, then we wouldn't be in this mess. What does a man have to do to scare a woman? Show her your pure form and boom-out like a light.
Seriously though, what part of 'a deal is a deal' didn't she understand about our arrangement? First, I reasoned with her at the hospital, and now I have come to collect her, but she still refuses to believe the inevitable. Regardless of her disbelief, there is a reason I need her. And with my time-sensitive case, it was time to get out of here. Rushing with Elaine tossed over my shoulder like a sack of potatoes, I swiftly escaped the confines of her big brother's apartment to get to the stairwell. The one that led out back anyways, which happens to be at the end of the ground level floor. From there, it took no time getting her into the backseat of my vehicle. After, I went around to the driver seat to head out of this area.
Where we are going, she can't know anyway, so it helps that she fainted so I won't have to subject her to the whole gagged and tied scenario. Unless she likes that sort of BDSM roleplay, then I would love to continue with the act. However, that is at the bottom of my to-do list at the moment. Right now, I am late for a meeting with one of my many brothers. Do they not have anything better to do, though, besides bug me all the time? I doubt it since I am the most hated in the family; it seems I am also the go-to guy when in need. Sadly, I called on one of my brothers for a bit of assistance this time, unless he brought unwanted company.
Arriving at my nightclub, Envy, I pulled into the parking garage for employee's and found my place beside the elevator. Best spot for the owner of course, and in my particular case, it comes in handy. With a limp human draped in my arms, how could I look any more suspicious than I already do? Stirring in my arms, Elaine started to wake, but that is short-lived as she only groans and snuggles closer into my embrace. While the elevator doors close around us, I press the top floor button and allow the quiet ride to ponder my thoughts. Raphael should be waiting patiently for my arrival since I called upon his assistance to heal Elaine. He doesn't know that, but it will be in the open soon enough. Hating that I called for help in the first place, my brothers like to get in my business, and this is not the way to keep them out of it.
As the elevator dinged, I stepped into the penthouse, which opened a perfect view into the main living room area fully decorated to host a casual living appearance. While my brothers aren't pleased that I live amongst the humans, I refused to return to hell until I get what I came for, which is currently in my arms. And as untimely as it was, Elaine's brother's death only opened a divine window that I chose to close behind myself. "What is this, brother? I assumed you needed my help, not some mortal female." Raphael groaned as he stalked towards us, all the while I lay Elaine down onto the sofa so that my brother could work his magic and be on his way.
"Well, I didn't specify. So, can you fix the woman up or not?" I sighed and turned to walk across the room to grab myself a drink. Believe it or not, alcohol in the human world is weak, but tastes quite interesting. There are so many choices and flavors to decide on, but as long as it burns on the way down my esophagus I like it, plus I can't get drunk off this cheap stuff anyway.
"Why would I?" Raphael seemed to be in one of his testing moods, something I hated more with each passing second. Funny enough, my brother's and I do not resemble one another in the slightest of ways, probably because we do not all share the same qualities. Each of us has our unique traits, and our abilities form to our personality. For instance, I am Lucifer, the punisher. Not only is hell a prison which I manage, but I also punish those who have done wrong in life, and many other things that I don't mention often. "Elaine is someone special to me, and I require her assistance, just as I ask for yours right now," trying to fill him in all the while keeping out details, I knew if I leaked the slightest of information, he would run and tell the others. That is not on my agenda for the time being either.
Shaking his head, Raphael didn't seem willing to aid me at this time, so instead of allowing his presence any longer, I decided to wave him off. "If you won't help, then leave. I do not need your help, though it was appreciated-" I tried to make it sound minuscule, and he fell into the bait given.
"I can help her, Lucifer you drive me insane you know that? If Micheal were to find out," he began ranting about getting in trouble, but I ignored the rest of what he said while sipping the bourbon in my glass. Elaine stirred on the sofa, and her grunts echoed as she started trying to fight the darkness I veiled her with, knowing she wouldn't accept the angelic touch had she woken. Raphael took quick to his work, crouching at her side, his hands braced over her body like lamps providing heat. When his eyes closed, his chest buffed with a tight breath he held, and his hands began to emit a bright glow of divinity that beamed down against Elaine's form.
Within moments, he sighed and relaxed over her, eyes glued to her sleeping facial expression of peace. "Know that you owe me, brother, and I will come to collect. I won't speak of this, but I won't lie about it either," Raphael warned with a pointed glare as his wings expanded from his shoulder blades. His white-feathered wings that resembled a light bulb shining too bright to look at directly extended around himself and before I could respond, they curled around his body with a whoosh that left the room void of his presence. Now that he is gone, all I have left to handle is Elaine herself.
For my plans to work, she needs to believe that her brother is in danger of losing his life, which I made happen. He died, and I managed to extend his grace period for my benefit, sad but true. Poor little Noah caught in the schemes of someone like myself, but desperate times call for drastic measures. Dragging the rest of the liquor bottle with me while taking a seat in the chair across from where Elaine lay motionless, I let my eyes trail her form. She is beautiful, and there is no doubt about that — medium length tendrils of dark rooted hair with lighter ombre tint of sandy brown at her ends. Pale skin only tanned in certain places like she hasn't seen the sun rightly in a while, and beautiful cerulean eyes that could tell her life story.
Her hands are petite and delicate, without polish on her nails but still kept neat and trim. Elaine wears a silver band around her middle finger on the left hand, and a thin chain bracelet on her right wrist, which is essential and unflashy. I do like that she doesn't scream 'look at me' with her big breasts because instead of flashing those d-cups, she kept them hidden beneath a tee-shirt. Now those hips don't lie, and her full bottom half is more than most women have, but the way Elaine walks does not show off her figure with flattery. Of course, most of that is due to the cast she wears and the inability to walk correctly, which should clear up now that Raphael has healed her wounds.
To make her believe in the power of the divine and unholy such as myself, she needs proof. If she doesn't believe after tonight, then I am afraid she never will. However, I do have faith that my exposure was enough to scare her straight. All I need is in her womb, where I can plant a growing seed for the benefit of my future. The only reason I needed her to sign a contract deal so that I can use her until I get what I want. Does that make me a bad guy? Good. That is the entire persona behind my name, and I live to back it up. However, the plan for Elaine goes far beyond a persona attempt. If my brothers want to continue these futile attempts at snatching away my throne because I chose to interact with the humans, I will give them a reason to back the hell off, literally.
