In the last 7 hours Marshall had injected (Y/n) with a set of 3 different chemical prototypes called the ‘X series’, he and a team of trusted scientists developed the prototypes originally for bio-warfare, not for orphans under the age of 12. Most of the team after hearing the news of the chemical being used on children had either quit their jobs, or worked alongside Marshall. The amber eyed male flickered his gaze from the computer screen displaying (Y/n)’s vital statuses, to her paperwork detailing her past, and such. He felt a small pang of regret wash over him. On the child’s information sheet it told how promising of a young girl she was, or is. She excelled greatly in fine arts, and in academically, she was even good at sports! Though all of this didn’t matter much anymore. The experiments that were to be conducted on her would make the girl much more talented, smarter, and stronger than any genius, athlete, or artist. He was broken out of thought when of his colleagues slammed open the lab doors.

“Marshall, Patient Y has escaped”

Marshall yelled at his colleague to get the staff to help find the missing patient. He looked back at the young female sleeping peacefully in the white hospital bed. He shook his head as he closed the manila folder containing the test subjects’ information. In red, scribbled on the front was the words ‘(Y/f/n) Patient X’.

(Y/n) woke up to the blaring sounds of the alarms positioned throughout the lab. She groaned as she rubbed her eyes, looking around the room that was not the experimentation room she was last at. She began looking for a familiar face, even if that face had to be of the man who killed her friends. Finding no one in the room with her, she shrugged her legs out of the crisp white sheets of the bed she was lying in. The (H/c) haired girl moved herself to back up down the bed, in fear of hurting herself if she jumped off the bed. She covered her ears as she neared one of the alarms that was incidentally in her way to the door. She walked mindlessly through the white hallways, she couldn’t recognize any of the rooms or hallways as the ones near the experimentation room. Her (E/c) eyes landed on a tall iron door that stood out from the sterile white walls, and doors. The words ‘Subject X’ was engraved on the metal door, making the young girl curious of what was behind the door. She reached up for the door handle but her grasp reaching at nothing. She frowned, cursing the people who made a door without any handle. Her (E/c) eyes widened as she felt someone grab her slender shoulders and shove her against the white wall behind her.

“So you’re patient X”

A scratchy voice growled. (Y/n) lifted her head, (E/c) colored eyes meeting deep dark red. Her perpetrators’ grip on her shoulders tightened at the lack of response from the younger girl. (Y/n) quickly scanned the older girls’ appearance, she had matching dark red hair that looked dirty, and unkempt, and she also had a muzzle covering her mouth. (Y/n) gulped before nodding her head meekly. She noticed that the older girl glared at her with hatred, her dark red eyes burning holes in (Y/n)’s teary (E/c) ones.

“How’s a weakling like you have more power than me?”

(Y/n) wasn’t sure if that question was for her to answer. It sounded more as if the older girl was talking to herself. Her mind trekked back to when the girl had addressed (Y/n) as ‘Patient X’. She opened her mouth to ask the question.

“H-how come you called me ‘Patient X’”

The older girl snapped her gaze from the ground to the child still in her grasp. Her gaze seemed to intensify if it wasn’t already. She was about to snap at the young girl before hearing the familiar voice of Marshall rang from down the hallway.
