It was a beautiful, sunny day at the small town of Ohio. The wind was as fresh and crisp as ever and it pounded on the beige walls of Mathilde High School's building, where 3 girls sat, listening to their teacher while she droned on about their newest lesson. Luigi Ben Dover, a male in their class, abruptly slammed the wooden door open which caused Ms. Beth to suddenly halt the discussion. She glared heatedly at him as Luigi strode-barely giving attention to Ms. Beth-indifferently to his seat.
He lazily exclaimed, "Sorry I'm late!"
"Okay. Fine." responded Ms. Beth curtly, allowing the tardiness to pass for the meantime. That was until he passed Zaira's seat, where he winked and said, "Oh, hi there Zaira."
The two girls nearest to Zaira Green, also known as her best friends: Greyla Burton and Karry Smith, rolled their eyes while their petite best friend yelled, "Ugh!" Though, to be completely honest, she was screeching loud enough for the whole world to hear in the inside. Zaira saying, "OMG! OMG! Did my crush ever since birth just greet me in front of the class? OMG! He did!"
Ms. Beth wasn't pleased with this either as she growled, "Mr. Dover, sit down this instant!"
Luigi, then, hesitantly sat down beside Edward Stewart and Dennis Ethan Harris, his two best friends.
"You just love pissing teachers off, don't you?" Edward whispered, chuckling lightly.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." he replied as he waved his hand dismissively. He focused his attention on Zaira, afterwards, saying, "Hey, hey, Zaira."
Though, Zaira paid no attention to him and tried her best not to turn her head to where his needy figure was placed. But Luigi didn't give up just yet so he started continuously poking Zaira until she would notice his presence.
"What?!" she hissed, pissed at him and his actions.
He simply smiled widely and replied, "Hi."
"If you have nothing left to say, could you shut up?" she asked coldly, cloaking her true feelings for him.
Luigi didn't have any time to answer her unfriendly because of their adviser, Ms. Beth, who interrupted their conversation by scolding them. "Ms. Green, Mr. Dover, would you care to share what you were talking about? Or would you rather explain the lesson to everyone? Come on, you can speak up now."
She was greeted with silence, save for the air condition's soft breaths.
"You don't want to speak anymore, I see. Maybe a week worth's detention would help. Huh? What about that?" she pressed on though she didn't give them a single choice when she scribbled it down on a small sheet of white paper.
It didn't seem to affect Luigi since he's calm demeanor didn't exit, but it meant a long lecture for Zaira from her parents which made her send sharp daggers towards Luigi.
"If looks could kill, you'd be dead." stated Dennis, eyeing the deadly look which belonged to Zaira.
