Frost

chapter one

I was walking home from Zack's(aka my best friend in the whole world)house when all of a sudden it starts pouring rain.I actually enjoy walking in the rain so I continued to my house.I heard a crackle of thunder and when I looked up I saw lightning.Its not long my vision is blurry from the rain.Then I heard another crackle in the night sky.I could feel the electricity flow through my body.I just got struck by lightning.Your only 10% likely to die from getting hit by lightning.Then my whole body shuts down.

When I woke up it was obvious that I was in a hospital 'cause were else would you go after being struck by lightning.But when I opened my eyes and got up to a sitting position to look around it looked more like a lab.

"Oh your awake."I heard a deep voice say from the other side of the room.I saw a man about 30 walk through the door.He had combed jet black hair and was waring a lab coat.I recognized him imediently.

"Your Dr.Johnson.I am a huge fan of your work.Wait,am I in Johnsons laboratory?The most high tech lab in the world."

"Yes you are."

"Shouldn't I be in a hospital? After all I was just hit by lightning."

"Well I see you have no memory loss.And to answer your question your parents and I are old friends and I offered to treat you here until you got out of your comma."

"Oh okay.How long have I been in a comma?"

"Just under 2 months."He said walking over to a machine to check my vitals.

"When can I go home?"

"A couple of days.We sitill need to make sure all your vitals are okay before you can leave."

"Okay well I have a paper assignment,a project and a test that were all do a month ago so hurry up please."

"You just got out of a comma and the first thing you think about is school?"

"Well yeah.I have to keep my grades up if I'm going to get a full scholarship to Yale."

"Alrighty then.It looks like all your vitals are normal we just need to take your blood."

"Wait,what did you say?"I asked not sure if I heard him correctly.I don't know if you knew this about me but I am deadly afraid of needles.
"I said that we need to take your blood."

"No."I said standing up my back facing the open door.

"It'll only take a second."He said holding a syringe in one hand and making and hand jester with the other.I felt a pair of hands on either on my arms.Someone was behind me keeping me from moving.And for some reason I was more terrified then ever.Then all of a sudden I felt a jolt of electricity flow flow through me.
