chapter 3

"This is going to be a long couple of day's"I said more to myself.

"So do you have any questions before we start?"Dr.J asked.

We were now in a large room with an obstacle course and a hall like thing(wow real technical Danvers.) Surrounding the room.They said it was the training room;But for what I wondered.This was a laboratory,not a police station.And what was the hall for?I had so many questions and now was my time to ask.So I began.

"Yeah,a few.I had glasses."I said pointing to where my glasses should be."Where are they?And how can I see perfectly without them?I'm usually blind as a bat without them."

"Oh,yeah.That will be because of the lightning strike.It heald your vision."Ducky said from behind a laptop,that sat on a desk,doing God knows what.

"Okay then I'll just tell my family and friends that.I'm sure they'll believe me."I said sarcastically.

"I made you some new one's.Their also lined with lead."He said tossing me an exact replica of my glasses.(Black and blue ombre)But that only brought up another question.

"Why did you line them with lead?"I asked really confused looking at the glasses instead of him.

"Oh did I forget to tell you?We examined your eyes,and when I say we I mean Dr.Johnson,and found out that you also have x-ray vision."He said causally.

"Oh.I have another question.Why do y'all have an obstacle course,and why are we here?"I said acting like x-ray vision is the most normal thing in the world.Well after hearing you can travel at the speed of sound and molecular vibration control,this isn't to surprising.

"Well actually the cities police station trains here.And we are here to control your powers and see what they can do exactly."I just nodded my head in response.

"Another question is what is the hall for?"I ask pointing to the empty hall surrounding the room.

"Well originally it was for observation for the sheriff.But for now we will use it to test your speed.How fast you can run.How long you can run for."Dr.J said.

I was starting to get paranoid that they were going to use me as a lab-rat and they were going to tell the world about my abilities and everyone would think that I'm a freak.I was definitely starting to freakout.

If you couldn't already tell I have a tinge bit of anxiety.And right now I am having an anxiety attack.

I only have them when I'm extremely overwhelmed, worried,or scarred out of my mind.So the fact that I'm having one now is quite scarry.

They must have sensed my extreme discomfort cause Dr.J said"Don't worry nothing bad is going to happen to you.And Donald and my self are the only ones who know and we intend to keep it that way."He tried to reassure me but it wasn't working.I had to get out of there.I needed air.

I tried to leave but something was holding me back.I could feel a hand on my arm.I looked over my shoulder and met eyes with Dr.J."Take all the time you need.And the bathroom is the second door on the left."He said with a hushed tone.It's like he knew what was happening.Well of course, he's a scientist.But it was like he has been through the same thing;or someone close to him has.

I nodded my head and said a quick 'thank you' and walked to the bathroom.But I felt a spark and I was in the door way in a minimum of only a second or two.And I steadied myself on the door frame.

I pushed it aside for now and kept walking to the bathroom.Once I was there I splashed ice cold water on my face.I walked out of the building after patting my face dry.I didn't worry about getting lost.I just had to get out of there.All I could think about was outside and the fresh air it brought with it.

"You all good?"Ducky asked as soon as I got back into the training room about a half hour later.

"I'm fine.Can we continue."I said wanting to move past what happened earlier.

"Yeah.Now we're working on molecular vibration control.Or what I like to call fazing."He said walking over to a bunch of card bored boxed stacked up into a wall.Then I realized Dr.J was no longer in the room.Ducky motioned me to come to the cardboard wall so I did.

"What exactly am I supposed to do?"I asked my body facing the wall but still looking at him.

"Just focus on vibrating through the wall.Put all your energy into your hand and focus moving it through the box."

So I did what he said and nothing happened.I tried again and again and still nothing.I guess Ducky sensed my frustration cause he then said"Why don't I go get use some dinner and we can continue in the morning?"

I just nodded my head and tuned to walk back to the main room.(The room with all the tech stuff.)"The number one at Jack in the box with a Dr.pepper is my favorite."I said turning to face him in the hall.

"You got it."Was all he said and diapered down the other end of the hall.

"Who knew using super powers all day could tire you out so much."I said taking another bite of my burger.Ducky got exactly what I wanted and I love him for that."But then again nobody would cause I'm the first one."

"That's not necessarily true.What about superman.?"He asked also taking a bite of his burger.Which is a number three.I was sitting on his desk and he was sitting in his chair.We've been like this chatting ever since he got back.

"You have got to be kidding me.You don't believe that he's real right?"If you don't know who Superman is then here you go.He is a 'super hero' with 'super powers' and stops crime.He has been in every news article for months.But he is so fake.

"Well of course I do.How could you not?I mean he's amazing."

"Whatever helps you sleep at night."

And that is pretty much what happened for the next few days.I called my mom and Zack to let them know I was okay and I'll be out soon.They were really happy to hear that.Dr.J told me that they visited a lot when I was in a comma.But I kinda figured they would.And if they couldn't visit then I'm sure Zack would of found another way to see me.Thats just how he is.Hes the kind of person that would ditch a date to pick you up from detention cause your mom forgot and your brother is grounded.Which is a true story.

I was a little upset thought when I hard Dani never came.But I also all to surprised.Dani and I have been through a lot.
