Then all of a sudden I felt a jolt of electricity flow through my body.

Just like when I got struck by lightning.I started frantically looking around the room.I stopped when I saw my reflection in the window along one of the walls.But it didn't look like me.My chestnut brown hair was replaced with a white blond color.And her eyes were electric blue while mine are light brown.My naturally tan skin was pale.My pink lips were now the same color as my now blue eyes.It had looked like I was standing out in the snow for days without a jacket.And then I realized I wasn't waring my black rimmed glasses.But I could still see perfectly.I was so confused.While everyone else seamed scared.

"What happened to me?"

"I'd like to know the same thing."I heard Dr.Johnson say; which cause me to look away from my reflection and to the doctor."we're going to have to run some more tests and see what happened to you.Please take a seat and I will start running some more tests."

"Okay."I said taking my seat on the bed and then he started.

After about ten minutes of testing in silence he spoke again"I'm going to have to take your blood.But only with your permission."

"If it will figure out what happened to me...then okay."I said extending my arm out were the inside was facing up.And then it took about five minutes to do what scares me most in this life.But it went on quite smoothly.I didn't even feel the needle.

"So what's my diagnosis Doc?"I said to Dr.Johnson."sorry .I tend to say stupid things when I'm nervous."

I was now sitting on the bed and the doctor was hunched over a microscope looking at my blood."Come take a look at this."He said standing up straight.

When I looked in the microscope my cells were moving very rapidly.

"What's it doing?"I said looking back up at him.

"Your cells have been genetically modified.Or in other words mutated."

"So you can fix it,right? Reverse the process?"I said becoming a little more worried.

"No,I'm sorry.But we can help you control your powers."

"Powers?What powers?What are you talking about?"

"Follow me."He said walking out the door with me behind him.

"Where are we going?"

"Here."He said walking into a room and turning to face me.

"Woah.Best.Day.Ever."Is all I could say looking around the huge room filled with state of the art tech.Everything in this room coast about a billion dollars.

"Hey it's you.Whats your name again?"I asked referring to a guy sitting at a long curved desk with three computers on it."Donald Malard.Have we meet before?"He said shaking my extended hand.

"No but I've been meaning to email you about your security system.Hold on a sec."I said moving over to his computer to update it real quick."Hey,is it alright if I call you ducky?"

"Yeah,sure.Who is she and why is she touching my computer?"He said to Dr.Johnson.

"Caitlyn Danvers.And I just upgraded all your programs and added an app to your phone that will alert you when something happens no matter where you are."I said holding his phone out to him.

"Thanks."He took his phone hesitantly looking confused with a little shocked.

"Can we get back to the blood I gave you earlier?"Dr.Johnson asked.

"Ah yes .It apers that when you got struck by the lightning it mutated your cells."He said turning to his computer and beginning to type."

"Okay,I got that part but Dr.J said,can I call you Dr.J?"I asked and he replied with a headnod."Dr.J said something about powers.What kind of powers are we talking about?And how is that possible?"

"Well that's not possible...yet.But there are some theories and scientist who think they are close to giving people super human abilities."Ducky said turning to face me then back to his computer."Some of your abilities are rapid cellular regeneration, electricity and lightning manipulation..."

"So I can control electricity?"I cut him off.

"Yes and no But we'll get into that latter during training.Uh, vortexs,a mass of whirling fluid or air."

"I know what a vortex is.I'm not stupid."

"So I suppose you know what a what a molecular vibration is."he challenge.

"Occurs when atoms in a molecule are in perodic motion while the molecule as a whole has constant translational and rotational motion."

"Alright then.Moving on.Accelerated healing factor and super speed."

"Okay,but what about what happened earlier?"

"Ah yes.Well that side,when you changed,was triggered by fear or anger."

"Okay.You said that those were some of the abilities."

"Well we don't know that there are more abilities because we don't know what test to take."

"Shall we start training?"Dr.J finally chimed in."

"This is going to be a long couple of days."I said more to myself.
