Nash relaxed into the sofa as she sipped her warm tea, her index finger flipping through the channels unable to select a program to watch. This was the first day of freedom after she finished her A-levels and she found herself doing nothing remotely enchanting. She slouched further into the fabric enclosing herself in the pillows and blanket which surrounded her.

It was raining again, a typical British summer, not that if it hadn't have been raining she would have gone outside in any event. Spencer had taken Bella out for a walk leaving Nash to sleep in. She thanked him as he returned with a very wet Bella and brought her a cup of tea in bed. How she had missed having someone to do this for her. She longed for a boyfriend or some type of companion, that wasn't a dog like Bella, to do things for her. She internally punished herself for not being grateful for being alive.

Nash finally found a program she wanted to watch and placed the remote in between the hoards of pillows. To her surprised Spencer came in, disturbing her moment of solace.

"I thought you were going out?" Nash questioned suddenly feeling that her afternoon had been intruded on by her big brother. Spencer laughed as he poked around Nash's fortress of pillows and covers.

"Oh sorry I couldn't hear you under all of those pillows." Spencer teased. "Yes Mash, me and you are going out." Spencer began to pull at the blanket that Nash was enclosed in; she made a growling sound suddenly feeling increasingly lazy at the invitation to go out.

"No. I don't want to get up." Nash spoke in a childish voice sticking out her lower lip pouting. Spencer continued to pull on the blanket, he did not use all of his strength but he managed to pull the blanket from Nash.

"You're getting up and we are going into London." Spencer called after her as he left the sitting room.

"Why the heck are we going into London for?" Nash called back, Spencer did not answer. Nash knew that she would have to go anyways, Spencer always got his way and a part of Nash knew that he was trying to cheer her up. She had never been to London before and was curious as to what all of the hype was about. She had spent the whole of her teenage years up in the hills of Suffolk with the sheep and old people, the idea of going into a busy city on a rainy day sent chills down her spine. She convulsed slightly as she thought of the crammed city, crowds of people and expensive shops.

"We leave in 20 minutes Nash!" Spencer called after her form the kitchen, he is relentless she thought to herself. She knew that it was his attempts to make it up to her, to make her feel appreciated and as though the past 6 months have not all been for nothing. She heart leaped as she knew that her big brother would buy her something that she could keep forever. Nash took to her feet collating as many pillows as she could and headed upstairs to get changed.

Nash raked through her drawers looking for something to wear that would be worthy of a trip to London. She marvelled at how many clothes she had yet how many of them no longer fit. She grazed racks of tops and jeans whilst wrestling with the idea of wearing a dress. It was the middle of June for crying out loud she thought to herself looking outside at the rainy weather. She internally cursed the rain before returning to her decision. Nash let out a small groan as she settled on a floral yellow sundress. She had come to the conclusion that it will probably be raining all summer and she might as well wear a dress. After all she was going in a car not waiting for a bus or train.

Nash ran her hands over her body as the dress fit her perfectly. It highlighted her newly found hips and draped lower at the front, showing off her breast. She sighed in the mirror admiring herself slightly.

"You look lovely pet." Nash's mum peered in through the crack of the door admiring her daughter. Nash shay brought a hand over her stomach hiding herself from her mum. She was yet to become conformable in her new skin, her mum knew that as she had been through the same thing.
