As James and Jaiden made their way off the roof, You silently started screaming to yourself as you realized that you were now alone with Adam.
You fixed your sitting posture a bit and rested your hands on your lap, trying not to look in Adams direction. You were sweating slightly and your face was a light shade of pink. Adam didn't seem to mind to be around you, his legs were spread out and he was resting his hands behind his back staring up into the sky. He glanced in your direction and smiled "Is being on the roof scary?" You jumped slightly at the sound of his deep, soothing voice.
You refused to look at him and just shook your head, "Ah- no it's just a little humid up here."
You struggled to speak while tugging at the neck of your outfit. Adam raised a brow and smacked his lips "Ok, uh.." he scanned around himself before the wine bottles that Jaiden left caught his eye  "You thirsty?" He asked while grabbing one of the wine bottles and pointing it in your direction. You blushed even more at his comment "Thirsty~?" You lusted his words in your mind and exhaled.  You finally turned to look in his direction and with hesitation, took the bottle into your hands and thanked him. He gave you a warm smile and a nod, then continued to look up into the sky. The cool breeze made you relax a bit, you stared at the cap of the wine bottle before opening it. You weren't a "Fancy Wine" type of gal, but this was better than nothing.
You took a quick sip of the wine before frowning at the unsatisfying taste.

Adam noticed your unhappy expression and chuckled "Is it bad?" You smiled and placed the bottle next to you "Yep. It's awful." Adam laughed a bit before scoring closer to you to grab ahold of the bottle to try out the beverage for himself. You watched as he took a quick swing of the wine. He squinted a bit before looking at you "Are you crazy? This is amazing." You laughed and continued to watch as he basically chugged the wine. "Easy tiger, your gonna get drunk." You said while trying to take the bottle away teasingly, which was a bit of a struggle. Adam looked at you through the corner of his eyes, a sly smirk forming on his face, the sight of him made you turn pink once again. He chuckled softly while getting closer towards you, then he did something that almost made you rip your fucking pants off.

He smiled a bit as he stared into your eyes, only a few inches away from your lips. You stared back at him wide eyed, blushing, and mentally panicking. You cleared your throat "Uh, Adam I-"
"Why is it that when i look at you, you instantly look away?" He cut you off, his voice sounded a bit upset. "Do you think I'm still a homeless weirdo?" He asked another question, only this time sounding more happy, you furrowed your eyebrows slightly and replied "No Adam, I think your a really cool guy." He looked away from you and down towards the wine bottle in your hand. "Then why are you so uncomfortable around me?" He asked sadly, your heart ached at the sound of his voice, the last thing you'd want to do is make him upset. "Did- did I do something to make you uncomfortable?" He looked up at you, you could see the pain in his eyes at the question.
You shook your head and quietly replied "No, you did nothing." You smiled sweetly at him as butterflies started to form in your stomach. "Should I tell him how I actually feel? I've only known the guy for a week." Your mind raced as you watched Adam patiently wait for you to answer again. You exhaled and placed your hand on his arm, "Adam, I know this may sound really stupid and out of the blue, but.." you struggled to find the words to say. You stared into Adams adorable puppy like eyes and smiled, you knew exactly what to say now. "I've never met anyone quite like you, Incredibly dorky and funny, and just straight up awesome." Adams face grew the same shade as yours as he listened to what you were telling him. "And Adam, i think.. I think I might lik-"

"WOAH! What's going on here?!"
You and Adam helped slightly and turned to see who was on the roof. It was James and Jaiden. They returned from retrieving yummy snacks. Great. Jaiden quickly apologized "Ah! I'm so sorry! It just looked like you two were- yknow."
She shrugged her shoulders slightly while awkwardly smiling, James smirked and made kissy noises. Adam quickly turned red and snatched the empty wine bottle from your hands and towards James. "AGH DUDE IT WAS A JOKE IM SORRY-" James dodged the bottle and watched as it rolled off the roof. You cleared your voice a bit and stood up, "Well I uh- I think I should get home. My friend, (F/n), is gonna get shit faced if I don't stop her from drinking." Jaiden chuckled slightly and nodded, "Aw ok, well it was nice meeting you (Y/n)!" You smiled and waved at them, "Bye guys." You said while walking down the roof. Adam quickly stood up and asked aloud "UH- I- I can walk you out?"
He quickly bit his tongue while James and Jaiden raised a brow.

You turned to look at Adam for a few seconds before smiling, "If it wouldn't be much of a problem?" Adam quickly nodded and stumbled his way over towards you, "I'll be right back guys-" he told James and Jaiden as they exchanged confused looks. Once Adam was right next to you, he gestured you to go first.
You smirked "Oh what a gentleman." He chuckled. "I try." You laughed as you and him cautiously got off the roof and into the attic. As you and him made your way through the house to find (F/n), you kept thinking about what happened a few moments ago. You shook your head and decide to focus on finding your friend, you walked into the kitchen and found (F/n) sitting on the counter, surprising sober. She noticed you and smiled "Heya, you ready to head out?" You smiled back at her and nodded. She hopped off the counter and messed up your hair a bit, making you groan and push her towards the front door "You cunt." You smiled and made your way outside. As (F/n) was walking towards the car, you felt a tap on your shoulder, making you while around. "I- I told you I would walk you out so uh-" You smiled as a flustered Adam stood infront of you, "Uh- I'm not sure why I walked out here uh." He scratched at his neck slightly before looking at you, making you blush at the sight. "Can I uh- get a friendly embrace?-" he asked while stretching his arms out. You chuckled and hugged him softly, he hesitantly wrapped his arms around you and exhaled the air he was holding, feeling at ease. You smiled and spoke while still being in his arms "You know, we can see each other anytime, right?" He nodded slightly, still tightly holding you. "Well, Maybe we can go out somewhere, just you and me." He quickly pulled away to look at you, a dorky yet embarrassed smile on his face, "Uh, just you aNd me?" You smiled at his voice crack and nodded, "Yep." He pulled his hands to his sides and patted at his legs, "Uh, We could go to Taco Bell? On Friday, 5pm? I don't have that much money on me at the moment." His dorky smile still on his cute face.

You chuckled softly and nodded, "It's ok, and it's settled, see you on Friday." You smiled at him one last time before walking to your car and sitting in the passenger seat. (F/n) immediately started asking questions while driving away from the house, making you laugh aloud.

Adam watched as you drove away, his heart pounding. When you were out of view, he excitedly fist pumped the air and ran a hand through his hair, "Dear god please tell me I'm not in some stupid dream." He said while starting to blush again. Lucky for him, this certainly was no dream.
