Today...
Zeb walks in the hallway of Phoenix & Co LTD ( The secret hideout for the Wolfgang Cartel ) as he finally halts at a door at the end of the hallway that has 'The Boss ' carved into it.
He enters the office and scans it with his eyes, examining the arrangement of the office. He walks to the seat and plops down on it to swirl on it until he was caught in the act when Edna barges into the office.
"Umm... Zeb?, what are you doing? " she asked in confusion of what she saw.
"Firstly, never walk into this office without knocking. Show respect for the new boss of this cartel. It's my first day " he says with a mischievous smile.
"And secondly, I will be addressed as Sir or Boss and not those informal nouns " he said. "Now you may speak"
"What the hell has been going on with you? " Edna asked not really expecting an answer as she continues.
" For the past two years everyone knew that you becoming the boss was inevitable unless you die which apparently you didn't . But you have been acting so cold to me and our friends like we're your enemies. This was once a dream for you and we were ready to help you because we understood what you went through. We lied, we framed, we killed to get you were you are now and along the way you get your asshole groove on and behave bitchy to everyone. Can you care to explain why? " she asks in concern and hurt.
"How dare you, Edna. How fucking dare you? .Are you drunk or something ? " he asks furiously .
"Don't you dare ask me that question when you were the drunk one that got me pregnant " she says and breaths deeply as she realized what she said.
" What did you just say ?" he asked Edna but she doesn't reply as tears begin to well up in her eyes.
"What the hell did you just say Edna?" he asked furiously slamming the table as Edna shrieked to the sound made.
" You heard me right . I love you and you knew it but you were so obsessed with this Yolanda girl that I have never even met after a decade. It's been ten years Zeb, ten years but you couldn't get over her and face the reality that I'm here and I love you but you went ahead and got drunk and manipulated me with those promises that you were ready only for you to wake up the next day with a hangover and tell me it was to clear your head just for some hours and it was nothing serious " she said as the tears finally rushes down her cheeks.
"Shut up, shut up, shut up " he screamed while banging the table continuously.
"I can't take your lies, Edna " he said with his eyes closed like he would open them and see it was just a dream.
"And even if what you are saying is true. I'm not ready to be a dad. Not now that I just got everything I wanted for the past decade. I can't afford to be a father and be paying attention to the child and be trying to protect it from my enemies. I'm not ready. And if I'm not ready this child is not going to exist as I will not condone any weaknesses " he said as he searches the drawers and pulls out a gun and cracks it and points it at Edna about to shoot until Philemon and Spencer barge in .
"What are you doing, Zeb? " Spencer asks as they head to him but Zeb pulls the trigger but gets the wrong target.
" Emily " Edna screams in tears as Aria stands in the corner in silent tears. Emily drops into Edna's arms.
"Run, Sis. You will die with your baby if you don't get out of here. Ryan and Spence are arguing with him right now so he will be oblivious to any other thing. So just run " she said her final words.
