I love the way her hand fits perfectly in mine. The way her skin felt between my fingers. It's never felt this perfect with anyone else. Harper makes me so soft. I don't even know her, but I do know that I can let my guard down around her. We sat in my car and without missing a beat Harper said, "Okay where are we going and are you taking me to murder me?" I laughed until I was almost in tears, Harper laughed with me. Her laugh made my face burn bright red. She's amazing. I looked over to her and took her hand in mine again. "No I'm not going to murder you, but where we're going is a surprise." She looked at me with big eyes. You have no idea how badly I wanted to kiss her in that moment, however she was special and I didn't want to mess up the first date by moving too fast. She looked into my eyes for a second before saying, "Okay, I trust you." I got butterflies in my stomach when she said that. This amazing, beautiful, gorgeous girl trusts me. I honestly couldn't think of anything more perfect. I looked away from her and drove to what I consider to be my happy place.

I parked right outside the edge of the woods. "Um, Krissy this isn't helping me trust that you aren't going to kill me" Harper said as she closed her car door. I chuckled at her. "Just trust me. I've been coming here since I was a kid." I told her as I lead her into the trees. I've never showed someone this place before, but I figure who better to show than the first girl to ever give me butterflies in my stomach. We came to this clearing where the trees made a perfect circle. This is my happy place. "Were they planted like this on purpose?" Harper asked. I sat down in the middle of the circle. "Well I'm honestly not sure, but I would like to think that they were put here to serve a purpose to someone like me who just needs to get away. Maybe its like an entrance to hell or something, I don't know." Haper chuckled at my remark before sitting down in front of me. She talked to me for a while about her veiws on politics and religion and general things she's passionate about. I'm not sure when but at some point I laid back in the grass with my hands behind my head. When Harper saw me lay down she crawled over next to me. The next thing I know my eyes are fluttering open and this amazing girl is sleeping soundly with her head on my chest. She was so calm and still. All of that was interupted when my phone rang. When I answered all I heard was my mother's voice screaming at me on the other line. "Krissy Marie I told you to be home by 7 o'clock tonight because we were having company over." she said. I quickly told her that I lost track of time and that I would be home soon and hung up. I lightly shook Harper awake. She looked up at me with sleepy eyes. "Hey my mom wants me home so you've gotta wake up." I told her. She smiled up at me and softly said, "Okay Krissy." I helped her up and walked her back to my car. That was by far the best first date of my life.
