"CAL!!"
....
"CALLIDUS GOSDORE!!!! WAKE YOUR 17 YEAR OLD ASS UP!!"

I shot out of bed, my head hurting. What does that idiot want?

"WHAT IS IT????"

No reply.

God- I removed the blanket and threw my legs over the side of the bed -damnit, really making me get out of bed....

I rambled on in my head as I walked down stairs. Quickly making my way towards the smell of fresh pancakes and a happy yet frightening tension.

I looked at my brother with a grumpy face, eyes squinted and lips pouting. I scratched my head and walked over to him.

"Yes? What do you need Austin?" You answered softly, not wanting to yell since your head was pounding like crazy. Why does my head hurt so much?

Austin held up an envelope with a peculiar designed stamp holding it together. "You've got mail" he replied extremely happy.

Taking the envelope in hand, you looked at it. Who in the living hell...? I tore it open to see a couple of papers inside.

1, 2, 3. I set all three on the table.

The first one I looked at was what to bring with me. Where- the second one caught my eye. Austin's name was the first thing you read and you looked it over. Multiple questions stormed my brain.

Why would I need Austin to help me find the campus? What campus? The hell? 9 3/4 doesn't exist... What the hell is a 'Diagon Alley'?

Finally finishing the letter I looked at the third note.

Congratulations! You've been accepted to Hogwarts!

I looked at my brother. "Is this some kind of prank?" I didn't know why him and my father had complete straight faces.

"Honey" my dad spoke up. "We didn't think you'd be accepted since, your mother isn't exactly a student, but.." he looked up at my face, staring into my eyes intimidatingly. He was never a nice guy. "You're kind of a witch" he shrugged.

I snorted before I went into a fit of laughter. After calming down a bit I looked at the both of them "really? Come on, the jokes not funny anymore" they looked back at me with seriousness written everywhere. Noticing the tension I gulped.

"Oh...So....This is not a joke..."

They both shook their heads as a sign that they were completely serious about the whole thing. "You start packing tonight, you leave to London tomorrow" he exclaimed drinking his coffee.

"Excuse me, what?"

"Honey, you have no friends anyways, might as well start packing right now. It's not that hard. And plus, you've got Austin"

-

I finished packing most of my stuff, I grabbed what I needed to last for what I heard of a school year. Austin explained a lot so I wasn't completely lost. Walking to the door ready to leave he decided to explain more.
