I have a problem, not just a small mediocre problem that could be fixed within an instant, This is one of those ones were you just don’t know what to do.

It was half past 12:00 by the time i got out of bed today, Saturdays were my favorite because I could spend as long as I wanted in bed knowing that the next day I had no school. I tumbled down the stairs like a beach ball and flung my body upon the wooden chair which had a disgusting yellow hued cushion which didn’t go with the red door mum had just painted. She was a big fan of painting the door. It made her feel creative, or else she just had nothing else to do. Either way every time mum painted it she would pick out possibly the most hideous colour she could find to paint the door. I splashed a bit of milk on the island bench when I poured myself a drink and quickly wiped it up with a cloth so it wouldn’t get too sticky. My phone rang right when I was about to start eating my cereal. To my surprise it wasn’t my boyfriend, he had been trying to get me all day and I honestly couldn’t be bothered talking to him. “Oh My Gosh I have some serious gossip to tell you about” It was my best friend. We had stopped with the whole Hi how are you? years ago because frankly it just wasted time and we both knew each others voice well enough that we didn’t need to give an explanation. Tash arrived fifteen minutes later with an esky and a bag full of clothes, “I’m staying the night” We both knew that it was going to happen whether she packed her clothes or not so she just packed them anyway. It had been getting harder and harder to catch up with Tash because I got a boyfriend and Tash is always so busy partying that we barely have any downtime that we can spend together. Once Tash had settled into my room, it was on the top floor and my brother was in the room next to it. My parents where downstairs and the spare room in the basement was occupied by me and my brother. We actually split the whole room in half because I wanted to use the basement when Josh wanted to and there was too many fits so dad brought a massive sliding glass door that you can pull across. There is a special button that turns the glass into a fog so you can’t see through. It is actually so cool and is the best when you have others over for the night. Tash and I finally made it to my pastel colored side of the basement and we set up camp for the night.

“Oh ok so here is the biggest news ever. If this was mean girls I swear I would earn a million points for this” Tash was hyper with excitement. Thats what I loved about her. She always kept her cool but got excited at everything.

“Just get on with it and tell me already” I was actually looking forward to hearing the gossip today. I needed something to keep my mind of my boyfriend.

“You ready”

“What does it look like?” I was getting a bit frustrated

Tash got up from the couch which was placed in front of our T.V and scrummaged through her bag to get her phone. “Hold on I need your laptop” Tash ran out and came back with a little colour in her cheeks which would have been hard because even I will admit we both wore so much makeup that it was practically impossible for any natural skin to show through. “what on earth are you doing?” I asked her as she pulled up our school page in safari. “Look who I saw yesterday” Our student directory popped up and what do you know the absolute god of a mans face stared right into mine. It was like love at first sight. “Who is he?” I needed to know all the facts right this instant. “His name is Ben and he is starting next week at our school. Same age and he is in both of our maths classes, he’s in your english class, chemistry and he is also in my wednesday geography class.”

We spent the rest of the night stalking him and printing out pictures to cut up and put into our little hot boys countdown book. W had made the book in sixth grade and it was still a thing to this day. Every time we saw a cute boy we would put him in the book and rate him on a scale of 1 to 100. It was a bit of innocent fun and we all enjoyed it.
