Marinette POV

I just came back from the akuma attack when Alya came rushing back holding her phone out to show me the 'new hero' who calls himself Chat Noir. I made that name I want to tell her but she would ask me how. So I just keep listening and nodding until she asked me about hearing something coming from the roof and I tell her that I'll go check on it.

And that's how I got into my situation now: in shock with Chat on my balcony and a very confused Alya in my room. "Marinette!!! I'm coming up there if you don't come down with whatever's up there" Alya shouts from my room. Oh no....Chat you blasted cat! I have 2 options: show Alya Chat, get questioned on how I know him or shoo Chat away before Alya comes up. However, before I could make a decision on my own, Chat, being the curious cat that he is, ran behind me and went down the trapdoor. "Chat. NOOOOO!!!!!!!!" I screamed, but it was too late for Alya had probably seen Chat come from my balcony and had already cornered him into an interview.

I went down from my balcony to see what really is happening right now. And to no one's surprise Alya was on my chaise with Chat and bombarding him with questions. "Help me" He mouths with begging eyes but much to his chagrin and to my enjoyment, I gave the 'you-did-this-to-yourself' look.

"Hey Mari! How do you know Chat Noir?" Oh shit. This was the question I was hoping to avoid. "Umm....." Now it was my turn to give him the 'help-me' look. And him being the useless cat he is, just shrugged his shoulders. We both know if I tell Alya that I met him at the beach with him having a tail, she might blab on and on about it. Which leads us to make up a lie. I can always tell her that I met him after our trip to the beach(you did but just him as Adrien). Yeah that seems like the best way to go, it wasn't lying either, it would just be telling her a selective truth. "I met him after our trip to the beach" I say trying to be chill about it when my insides are churning to know if she would buy it. "Ok! Now back to my questions for the Ladyblog!" Alya shouts with much enthusiasm. I sigh in relief as I walk towards my workplace to continue my English homework.

Why did Chat want to visit me? Alya is currently buzzing around him, bombarding him with questions like 'Why did you just appear now?' Good luck answering that question, I've asked myself that question too many times to count already. "Alya can you pipe down a little bit? I can't concentrate on my homework" I say rubbing my temples to try to release my stress by at least a little bit. "Wait. We had homework?" I hear Chat blurt out before he covered his mouth in horror on what he just said and Alya's grin and eyes growing with surprise and excitement. But before Alya can fangirl like a madman and bombard him with even more questions, a loud beep, a very familiar beep especially for me, emitted from his ring, signaling to everyone, that his time is up. "Well I would love to continue to chat but my time is almost up, au revoir girls!" He said bowing before hopping over my bed and jumping off my balcony.

"Well...that was interesting..." I awkwardly say, twiddling my thumbs waiting for Alya to practically murder me because I didn't tell her about me knowing Chat and the info-overload that I've given her in 1 afternoon. "I-I'll be heading ho-home" Alya stuttered which was very unlike her. "Don't tell anyone about me, ok?" I make sure, hoping that she would keep her promise. She answered me with a very slight nod before going down my ladder to the rest of the house. I hear her say good bye to my parents and leaving the bakery through the front door.

"Marinette! It's dinner time." My parents shout from downstairs. I hope Alya is ok. I go down the ladder and help my parents set the table. I sit opposite my parents and begin to eat some of my mom's amazing cooking. "Marinette, why did Alya look upset when she left?" My papa asks. I don't even know the answer to that question, "I don't know" I mutter under my breath. "She probably got information overload." I say trying to avoid their eye contact. "Marinette did you keep something from her?' My mom asks. I answer her with a nod while putting my fork up to my mouth to eat at least a little bit before I feel like running back to my room. "Marinette, I'm sure you meant well. Don't worry you two are the best of friends so you will most likely make up" My mom says to which I can only hope is true. "You're right mom" I sigh.

We continue eating in silence before we all finish and I start to pack away all the dishes. "Marinette you can go up already. We can finish up here" my papa says getting the dishes from me and putting it in the sink. "Thank you papa" I say kissing his cheek in thanks and heading up to my room.

"CHAT NOIR!!!!!!" 

Why. Is. He. Back. In. My. Damn. Room.

"Why hello purr-incess, you don't seem to be happy to see me again" He pouted while he got up from his cat like position on my chaise. "Well, let's see...you appearing made Alya go on overdive, you are currently giving me a major headache right now, and you also technically told us that you are our classmate dummy!" I rant at his face before collapsing on my floor in exhaustion. "Marinette are you ok? Should I come up?" Oh shit. My mom heard me. "No it's fine mom! It's just a stray cat" I say glaring at the blasted cat in my room right now. "Okay Marinette, tell me if you need anything" my mom responds, probably going back to preparing dough for tomorrow.

"Now. Chat why are you in my fucking room right now?" I ask angrily  turning my attention to the cat who was now back to sitting on my chaise. "Umm....I wanted to see if you were ok....also you curse?" I snicker, everyone has cursed at least once in their lives (tbh some people curse more than once a day but thats per person) "One. You don't need to, I can take care of myself" More than you can imagine. "And two, everyone curses. I'm pretty sure you've curse when a cuttlefish accidentally sneaked into your cave" I say nonchalantly. He just looked at me with big eyes and a funny look on his face. "Hahhahahha!!!!" I suddenly burst out earning a curious glance from Chat. "Your face" I laugh, trying to catch my breath. "Oh well" He said, making more faces in hopes to make me laugh. (He succeeded)

"Chat, shouldn't you be heading home?" I ask as it was getting late, it was like 11pm already "Hmm...?" Oh great he's almost asleep now. "CHAT!!!" I whisper-shout into his ear. (It was a futile attempt). Oh well I guess he's staying the night. "Night Chaton" I whisper before placing a spare blanket over him. "Marinette, don't you think he should go back to the sea?" Tikki asks, coming out of her hiding spot for the first time in about 5 hours. "Yes I do but he seems exhausted and besides he lives alone right? The worst that would happen is a cuttlefish would just randomly wander into his cave" I say getting under the covers "Ok, Mari. Good Night" Tikki says getting into her cot that I made her quite awhile ago. "Night Tikki" I yawn falling asleep.
