I played there, looking at the plain white ceiling of my nursery.
I sat up and crawled over to my white stuffed dog toy I got from my mom as I was born, I cuddly turned around as in heard the creaky door of my nursery.
I look over to see a black-looking man, with a slit mouth and a hunched over back, I crawled over to the back of the cot and started to simpler as the figure came closer to me, just as his boney hand we going to touch me, I screamed. The figure quickly retreated to the darkness of my closest but not before he let out an insane laugh. Just as the figure left the adoption lady swiftly scampered over to me and picked my shaking form, she took me and the other children down the stairs and laid up all on the for as she told us to play with our toys as she makes an important call.
As she walked off, I was going to turn over to play with the other children but before I did I heard that same laughing as from earlier, I looked over to the kitchen to see that same figure, but this time he held a sharp shiny knife in his clutch, he slowly let out a demonic laugh as his slit mouth pulled into an upwards grip.
Just as he stopped laughing, he suddenly sprinted over to me, just as he was going to attack me I heard a high pitched scream, I look over to see the adoption lady stood there in shock and fear as she saw the shadow figure run towards me with a knife, just as the figure disappeared the knife landed on the couch, but she quickly ran over to me and picked me up. After that event, we went to a house whose owner knowns the adoption lady, she explained the situation, and laid me on the sofa and placed a quilt over me.
After days of being all of us started to get rowdy, just as the lady was going to place me into the makeshift cot, the doorbell started to ring, so with me in her arms, she swiftly walked over to the door opened it only to be met with four men, but I paid attention to one, a man with black hair and dark clothing, I started to whimper and let my little chubby arms reach for him, just as the lady was going to pull me back he softly placed me into his warm arms.
As he was talking to the lady a vision slowly started to darken, but I quickly came back as I saw that same figure, I started to scream bloody murder, he swiftly turned around to see nothing as he rocked me back and forth.
As he turned around he saw the adoption lady with a scared look.
"what's wrong," he asked as he was still rocking me
She just looks down as she pointed at me
"(y/n) got a spirit attachment, a thing which a shadow body and a slit smile stalks them, I thought to take them here will keep the spirit away but it seems to follow them." she said as she was tending to the other child.
He looked down at me, and smile as he saw my small sleeping figure.
"(y/n), can come with me tonight, I'll get this spirit away, I promise," he said with determination in his eyes.
~*later that night*~
Later tonight zak, took me back to the orphanage, and not far behind the figure stalked us back to the place I called my home. I started to whimper but I was quicky counter with Zak stroking circles on my small back.
He walked into the living room and placed me on the couch unaware of the figure stood next to me, he pulled a device from his bag. As he was asking questions he didn't notice my whimpering form, suddenly it ragged me of the couch, my screams could be heard within deep the house, zak quickly ran over to me and tried to pull me from the things grasp. After a struggle, he succeeded in saving me and ran out of the house, after a bit of driving we ended up near a large looking building with a cross hanging near the door, zak took me inside to see a man with a black robe, he just nodded at Zak and picked me up I tried to get closer to Zak but he just followed behind him. Up placed me on a bench and whispered a chant to me as he places some water on my head in the shape of a cross. Surely I felt relief as I saw the figure disappear never to be seen again.
After that night zak to me back, but I didn't want him to leave me, he passed me to the lady as she passed him some papers, just as I was going to drive asleep I felt two arms snake around me, I look up to see Zak holding me saying something couldn't hear, but one thing I knew
I finally have my perfect family.
