[Second and Third Period]
That day in second period, Katie had an eigth grade class, so it was just Mandy, Hannah, and McKalee. *Fractions uhg.* But then, McKalee got checked out. She told Hannah and Mandy she had a dentist apointment. All through the day was nothing eventful. On the car ride in McKalee's car she and her mom are talking.
"Mom, Mrs.Cansler gives us too much homework"
"Well, it's good practice, sweatheart." McKalee's Mom turns around to look at her. All of a sudden, the car swerves and they crash into another car, and McKalee's Mom is knocked unconcious. Mckalee, shaking and crying, calls 911 and an ambulance comes and takes them both to the emergency room.
Mckalee is forced to wait in the waiting room, with several thoughts running through her head. "What will Dad say?! Will I go to school tomorrow? What will I tell Mandy, Hannah, and Katie?" Just then, McKalee's Dad walks in.
"How is your mother?" He asks.
"I don't know they won't let me back there!"
"Okay, sweetie" her dad says reasuringly.
Mckalee doesnt know what else to do then cry and hug her dad. She knows all eyes in the waiting room are on her, but she doesn't care. She can't stand the thought of loosing her mother, but that's the only thought she has.
