Just so you know, the characters Aden, Riley, Mary Ann, Victoria, Tucker and any other vampires or werewolves are from a book series by Gena Showlater. Not my own.

Backstory: Aden Stone is special. Not unstable, but people think he is. He actually does have talking souls of people who died the day he was born inside his head. He has four souls with special powers inside his head.

Elijah, the death predictor

Julian, the corpse whisperer

Caleb, the body possessor (pervert as part time)

And Eve, the time traveler.

Eve was set free when she found out who she was when she was alive and got what her dying wish was.

Aden wanted the souls to be free, but after he lost Eve, he was just to sad. He didn't want to lose another one, and the souls didn't want to leave either, but they needed to.

Aden had been in plenty of mental institutions and all that shit, and when he arrives in Crossroads and meets Mary Ann, everything changes. Aden begins to radiate a force, drawing mythical creatures to him. Goblins, fairies, witches, vampires, etc. and he likes one vampire.

Victoria Tepes, a daughter of Vladimir Tepes, or Vlad the Impaler, king of vampires.

She likes Aden as well, but she is promised to someone.

Dmitri, a vampire with a thirst for power. On the day when Vlad is supposed to meet Aden, Victorias betrothed kills Vlad, becoming the king of vampires. Then Aden kills Dmitri.

He becomes a human vampire king.

Many other vampires challenge him for the throne, but they withdraw when Aden becomes tamer of the beast. The beast are inside the vampires, and once freed, no one can control them. Except Aden, that is.

Then Aden dies.

But Vic brings him back, at a price. Vic becomes more human as Aden becomes a vampire. Mary Ann runs after finding out what she was, Riley tracks her, but then looses her. When he finds her again, witches attack and

"Screw off," Aden hissed at Riley.

"I would if you protected yourself as you claim you can do," Riley replied.

"I was just having fun," Aden said, shrugging.

"By letting that human attack you?" Riley snarled. "If you were not aware, I could be killed for letting harm come to you, my king."

"Riley," I hissed. "He doesn't like to be called that!"

"It's okay, Vic," he said. "I'm excepting the title now."

I stayed silent. I hated this new Aden. He was acting like a king now, and I hated that. He acted as if I were just another vampire, waiting to obey his every command. He acted as if we had never exchanged the words "I love you," which we had many times. One minute he hates me, and the next he wants to sing his teeth into me.

But I was human now, and he couldn't feed from me without killing me anymore. He had to drink from the blood-slaves, but he still craves my blood, as I did his.

"Vic," Aden said. "You okay?"

"Yes," I lied. "Just thinking about them."

"they aren't regular humans," Riley said. "They're human, but they're something else. I don't think that they were Fae, or the would've killed Mary Ann. The girls weren't witches. God damn it! We need to find out what they are."

"We'll find out tomorrow," Aden said. "I'm tired."

He stretched out on his bed, telling Riley to get out with a stare. riley left.

"Good night, my king," I said, and turned to leave.

"Victoria," Aden said.

I turned. "Yes?"

He was now sitting up, obviously not tired.

"Let's go for a walk," he said.

I was shocked as he took my hand and led me onto the balcony. He let go of my hand and climbed onto the rail. He stepped off. I looked down after him. He was standing up, not at all affected from the fall.

"What are you waiting for?" he called. "An engraved invitation?"

He didn't know that the fall would probably kill me. "I can't," I called.

"Why not? You afraid of heights?"

"No! But I can't."

"Come down!"

I went down out into the yard from the inside of the house.

"Aden," I said. "You should know, I'm not a vampire anymore. A fall like that would probably kill me."

"Vic," he said, draping an arm around me. "Of course you're still a vampire. How would you not be?"

"I gave you nearly all of my blood, and took a lot of yours. You had human blood, I had vampire blood. We switched."

he only nodded.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Just walking," he replied.

"We're going to find them aren't we?"

"just where they're house is, and I have a pretty good idea where I'm going."

"Are you sure?"

"When am I not?"

"Well," I said. "You weren't sure whether you wanted to be king, you weren't sure, and still aren't, if you even like me, and-"

"I do like you, Vic. I love you."

"if you did," I spat. "You would talk to me more. You only talk to me about the Fae and the other races and what we are going to do in order to stay alive."

"Vic-"

"Just, don't say anything," I snapped.

I turned and ran back to the house.

If you're questioning why Frosty's being such an (insert swear word here) and why Kat absolutely hates him and why none of it makes any sense, it's because I was (and still am) going through serious writers block so I haven't the slightest idea why I write what I do. I just read it over and I'm like "why did I write that?" Sorry this ones a little short. And for now, I am "anonymous" ~Anonymous
