I woke that next morning after a peaceful night of sleep. For the first time in what felt like forever, I didn't have nightmares.

Making my way over to her closet and pulled out her favorite hoodie and put it besides my jean shorts. The I went into the bathroom and took a long warm shower, singing all the while.

I was so caught up in my singing that I didn't hear the door open or see the figure enter the room until a loud voice echoed throughout the room.

"What the hell are you doing in HER room!" Ethan shouted.

I nearly dropped my towel as I let out a shriek

I nearly dropped my towel as I let out a shriek.

"What am I doing here? What are you doing here!" I yelled once I composed myself.

That was the wrong move. Ethan stormed in my direction and before I could figure out what was happening, my back slammed into a wall and I nearly dropped the towel.

My fingers pulled it closer to my body as I tried not to touch Ethan, since I was only wrapped in a towel and he wasn't wearing a shirt.

"Please let me go." My voice was small and sounded foreign.

"No! You have no right to be here! You don't deserve to sleep in her bed, use her bathroom or wear her clothes!" He spat the words out.

I bit back my tongue instead of replying. It was no use with Ethan, ever since the accident he had been cold. He never smiled, his eyes were hard and angry and he spent most of his time training or fighting. It was obvious who he blamed for his sister's death. Before either of us could do anything else the door flew open and Liz's mom entered

"Ethan Tobias Heart you put her down this instant!" She yelled

"Why should I? It's her fault, it's all her fault!" He roared back.

"She is a guest in my house and you will treat her as such!" Sarah said, the warning in her voice was clear.

Ethan dropped me and stormed out of the room. I stood there dumb struck for a second and then came to my senses.

"I'm sorry." I apologized as I turned towards Sarah. "I'm so so sorry."

"It wasn't your fault Kira!" She said as she helped me up. When I couldn't meet her eyes she lifted my chin and forced me to face her. "Listen to me Kira. It. Was. Not. Your. Fault."

"But if..." I started but trailed off.

"But nothing. Come on I made breakfast. You can stay here for the weekend if you'd like to. I have work today but I thought maybe tomorrow you, me, Rebecca and your mom could go for a spa day and just relax." She said while handing me the clothes on the bed.

"I'll think about it if that's ok with you." I replied with a small smile as I went to get dressed.

Fifteen minutes later I made my way downstairs. As I entered the kitchen the wonderful smell of pancakes filled my nose. The food on the table made my mouth water.
