Jade POV

The air around me was dark and heavy. The only sound I could hear was my own breathing. Cries broke through the thick sound of the silence; it sounded like Camila crying.

I felt around in the dark with my hands, "Camila?" A warm light emitted from underneath a door nearby and I head towards the light, pushing the door open. Camila was on the floor crying and Jesy was over her, a sinister grin on her face.

"Save me, Jade. Please!" Camila cried, looking up at me.

"This is all... your... fault," Jesy snarled through her teeth.

"Say you're sorry!" Camila screamed, joining Jesy, standing in front of me.

"I-I..." I stuttered. The two started walking towards me, twisted expressions on both of their faces.

"Say you're sorry! Say you're sorry!" They both screamed it on a loop, closing in closer to me. I felt like my own breath was being sucked from my chest and I couldn't breathe as I was backed into a dark corner.

I covered my ears and started crying, screaming, "I'm sorry!" Over and over as I squeezed my eyes shut as tight as I could.

Perrie POV

When I was ripped out of my dreamy state by screaming and crying, I immediately thought that Camila was having a nightmare. I left the comfort of my bed to go and check on her, only to realize that the sounds of distress were not coming from where Camila was sleeping, but from Jade's room.

My heart sank in my chest when I opened the door to see Jade sobbing, her hands clenched tightly over her ears as she screamed, "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" through her cries. I closed her bedroom door behind me as I approached her bed, hoping not to wake anyone up.

"Jade..." I said calmly, sitting next to her. "Jade, darling, wake up," I gently placed my hands on hers and removed them from covering her ears. The sleeping girl screamed, sitting up in her bed before sobbing into her hands. "Hey, it was only a dream. It's okay..." I cooed, bending down in front of her a bit to lift her chin up so she was looking at me. Jade's tear-filled eyes met mine as I gently wiped away her tears, "What did you dream about, love?"

She looked up at me before hiccups broke through her cries, "I-It's my fault Jesy hurt C-Camila! It w-was my idea t-to go out t-that night! I'm sorry!" She sobbed into her hands, breaking down.

"Jade... it isn't your fault. Come here," I moved to Jade's side and pulled her into my embrace.

"I-it is!" She cried.

I shook my head, "The only person who is responsible for Jesy hurting Camila is Jesy. Okay? I do not want to hear you blaming yourself, doll." Jade continued to cry as she held onto my shirt. I softly traced my fingertips along her arm, "Shhh, it's gonna be alright." I pulled a blanket over both of us, checking the time, 4:22 am. I looked down at Jade, using my thumb to gently wipe her cheeks of tears and smooth her hair out of her face. "Hey, Why don't we have a cuddle and you can get some rest, yeah? I'll stay in here with you tonight," I offered, running my fingers through Jade's hair.

I was relieved when Jade nodded because I could tell that she was still tired. "Okay..." I laid down next to Jade, my head propped up on a pillow as I opened my arms to Jade, "...come here, Jadey." Jade sniffled and snuggled close to me, resting her head comfortably on my chest. I did my best to help Jade calm down and relax, tracing my fingers gently alongside her hairline as she closed her eyes, melting into my embrace. "That's it... Sweet dreams, babes," I left a gentle kiss on her forehead as I let myself drift off into sleep as well.
