CAN POV
I was hangry, very very very hangry, Maa said that I had never eaten so much in one week and Ley said she was fed up of cooking for me. P'No was away with his family in his home town so I couldn't beg him for food.
But worst of all he wouldn't answer my calls, NOT that I was phoning him, Pete was for me but he wasn't answering back.
I felt restless, I couldn't sleep, concentrate and the only thing I could do to compensate for the tight feeling in my heart was fill my tummy. However, my stomach never felt full enough to get rid of the aching knot in my heart.
I longed to see his face, I wanted to taunt him for ignoring me, I wanted to punch him in the nose for not answering my calls, but most of all I missed his loving gaze, his amusement at my silly antics, cheering me up when I'm down and dare I say it even his sweet demanding kisses.
Sometimes at night I could still feel the taste of him on my lips, smell his delectable scent and I often imagined his rough hands stroking my skin.
I felt guilty for scaring him away with my insecurities, but that day I had seen just how different our worlds were, I was blissfully aware of how rich his family was, but seeing the stark contrast with my own eyes was something else and it shook me down to the core.
His brother bullying me I could handle, but the cold hard way his own Mother ignored him, the way his Father treated him as an menial inconvenience. Money made people cruel and hard hearted, no wonder he clung onto a poor skinny boy like me from a small loving family. Although could I take on this burden, could I really compete with the power and influence his family exerted? They only ignored him but potentially could threaten my family and I. Not that Maa and Ley would not put up a fight even Gucci would scare them hopefully (but sometimes he was more a pussycat then fierce dog).
I couldn't risk this happening and it frightened me to death, but now I realised that I had abandoned Tin at the moment he was weakest and needed me the most, the ache in my heart wasn't something I could fill with food and my restlessness was from being away from the most precious person I held in my heart.
My thoughts were interrupted by my phone ringing, grabbing it happily hopeful my person was finally contacting me, but I was disappointed to see Good's number.
"Hey Good, get off the phone, I'm expecting an important phone call..."
"Heyyyy........ Cannn.... Come have..... Sundae with me...... I have voucher...."
WAHOOOooo, jackpot free food, I quickly dropped the phone when Good gave me the address and showered and threw on some clothes to catch bus to Siam.
Excitedly waiting in line I animatedly talked to Good about trying the special sundae when I saw a shadow come over me and the hairs on the back of my neck rise, I knew only one person who had that effect on me and turning around, I wasn't disappointed, it was my Tin and my eyes were like saucers as I looked him up and down drinking his appearance in, my tears escaped without me knowing and I automatically threw myself at him as he locked me in his embrace.
