Chapter 11

Dororo's pov

I was thanking Lady Nui for invited me for her birthday party which she laughs and saying that she's happy to see me here. I smile while under the dress, I was wearing pearls, white flat shoes since my feets can't stand heels lot. I'm more used to shoes or boots lot since my tomboy habits. I soon notice some of the people were looking at me and whispering about something. I don't know what but it was somewhat me since I have resemblance of my mom dueling she was a fair lady lot, even Itachi said that I'm her younger slitting image. I sigh while I notice Hyakkimaru WHO WAS WEARING A TUXEDO LIKE TUXEDO MASK! Oh god, why the Nobles have to look good in a suit.

Hyakkimaru wave his mom before his eyes land it on me which made me blushed like insanely. "Dororo.... you're beautiful" he soon spoke as my face went to lava bits while I heard someone tried to hold their laughs before I shot a glare at Tahomaru and Okowa who hide behind of Mutsu and Hyogo. I'm going to kill you both when the party ends, Tahomaru! Okowa! I sigh of grief while Hyakkimaru reach out his hand in front of me as get me confused. "Want to dance with me?" He asked as I wasn't fully sure since I don't how to dance slowly dueling I was raised in the streets, even I learn street dance there. I told Hyakki that I don't know how to dance while he give a small laugh before take my hand and pulled me closer to him. I swore my heart almost skip a beat as he give a other laugh.

"Then, let me teach you" he said as he took me to the ballroom's floor and being dancing. I was nervous that I would step on his foot but I was surprised that I didn't. I was getting of hang of it. I couldn't help but to smile while notice the others join us to the dance floor. I really felt like Cinderella somehow and Hyakkimaru looked like Prince Charming in his way. If Itachi come here, then he would tease me like a sucker. Damn idiot. I was enjoying my time with Hyakkimaru as we stop and went to the food table which have lot of sweets as Manju, Moji and freshed red buns. Oh my god, I'm in heaven itself. Hyakkimaru eat some manju while I was eating buns which they're my second favorite sweet. Manju are the first.

I notice that Tahomaru was dancing with Mutsu which make Hyogo overprotective with his big sister. I would been laughing like crazy by now but I didn't want to chocked my food. Soon Lady Nui come by as Hyakkimaru pay attention to her while she was clam, enjoyable smile. "My son, can I have a word with Dororo?" She soon asked as I was confused before Hyakkimaru nods and leave from us. I was bit nervous what Lady Nui wanted to talk to me. I hope it isn't about asking me about Itachi's job or what I want in the future since I have the job of leading the Naginata's gang and the Bandit Clan's last and solo members. Please don't be that. "Dororo, I'm grateful that you come to my birthday and seeing you enjoying with my son. I haven't see Hyakkimaru smiling lot or being this happy when he was with his late girlfriend. I'm very grateful that you makes my son very happy" she spoke clam and soft.

I was surprised as I light blushed while rubbing the back of my head. She wasn't wrong about everything. Hyakki looks very happy and in enjoy with me, even Tahomaru was smiling while we were dancing. That proves that I have to tell him tonight or I will be stuck as Cinderella when she run away from Prince Charming. No way in hell, I'm going to end up like her. Lady Nui laught as she give a bright smile. "Please, take care of my son and cherish with him. I know you have feelings for him, so please, tell him what you really feel for him" she said as I nods and smile before she went to her husband as Hyakkimaru return and took one of my hand, lead me to somewhere. I was confused.

"Hyakkimaru, where are we going?" I asked as he replied 'to a surprise' which make me more confused. Really, where we're going? Hyakkimaru soon took me to the balcony which outside have lot of beautiful flowers and even a gorgeous  cherry blossoms tree. It was so breathtaking and extraordinary. I look up to the shining starry night with the beautiful moom give a stunning white light. So beautiful. "I guess that you like it" he soon said as I look at him while he was smiling and look at the sky. I saw his experience was happy and clam before I saw guilt and shame was started buidling. What's up? "Dororo, I'm sorry if I couldn't make the promise we made. I'm shame that I went to a other girl and start a courtship with her... I did like Mio very much and did stuffer what couples do. I'm really am so-" "it doesn't matter if you date someone else. I love you no matter what, Hyakki" I spoke as he look at me with pure and utter shocked while I keep my smile.

Stupid Hyakkimaru. Did you think I would be mad at that. Hyakkimaru soon spanned out and asked what did I say as I laugh. "I know you since a very long time and I'm not at you for that. May I didn't knew Mio but I know she need care and love from someone like you. I know you like her but I know you still have feelings for me. So I'm going to tell you this again, I love you from the bottom of my heart. I love you with all my heart and I will never stop loving you no matter what you. This what I meant that 'it more than a like' Hyakkimaru, I love you" I said as he was completely shocked, even red from my speech. It wasn't long unlit he started laugh as he pulled me closer to him while our forehead touched to each others.

"I love you too, Dororo. I want you to be my girlfriend if you don't want anymore manju or red buns" he said as I laugh before saying 'yes'. I finally say it. I couldn't believe I did it.  We stay this for a while unlit the butler calls us for performance of the ancient dance. We laugh as we hold hands and walked back to the others. This was best night I never thought before. I hope nothing goes wrong. I know it will but it longest that I'm with Hyakkimaru, then everything is fine. What could happen this month?
