The reports surrounding the members' future careers were untrue.
On August 1, JYP Entertainment confirmed the disbandment of CELLUL@R in the middle of preparations for their first comeback and many idol groups showed support after the news broke out. Later, an official JYPE representative said some members would be terminating their contracts and others would stay with the agency.
However, the ex-manager of the group responded to the previous report by stating, "The article talking about members signing on with new agencies and preparing to re-debut as members of other boy groups is false. Some of the members are currently taking time for themselves and will come back when the time is right. Their exclusive contract expires in November, but they'll be filing lawsuits soon. I'm not sure why such a ridiculous statement was released."
