Thirteen

Jungkook was  sitting  on the  couch  with  his  laptop  over  his  lap  and  a cup  of tea on the  side  table.

Taehyung  got down  the  stairs  with  his  hands  in the  pockets of his  sweatpants. It was  a lazy Sunday  after  all.

"Kookie, where  is Yuri 's  box?"

"I put it in the  attic"Jungkook  replied  firmly.

"Why  would  you  do that  to our  daughter 's  staff.Don't  they  mean  a lot  to you "Taehyung 's tone came out more sharper than intended

"It's  not like  looking  over  her staff  will  bring  her back. She  is gone. Face  it and  move  on"Jungkook  said,his  tone indifferent.

"Jungkook, are  you  okay? "Taehyung  asked. Jungkook  was being  insolent and  it wasn't  like  him.

"Oh I'm  perfectly  fine Taehyung. What  could  possibly go wrong? "Jungkook  asked  as he  sipped  his  tea.

Jungkook  had  never  called  Taehyung  that  the  whole  year. He always  addressed  him as Tae. Was  he  finally  going  back  to his  normal self.Taehyung  had  been  noticing  behavioural  changes in the  younger  from  a few weeks  ago  but  he  had ignored  them and  didn't  act on it.

One thing  was  for  sure, Taehyung  was very  far from  being  forgiven.He  had  to be careful  around  Jungkook  from  there  on.He  had promised  to destroy  him  after  all.

"I'm going  to visit  an orphanage  with  dad tomorrow. Wanna  tag along? "Jungkook  asked.

"I  got work "Taehyung  said  bluntly.

"Oh"Jungkook  chuckled.

"What? "Taehyung  frowned.

"It's  nothing, Taehyung. Don't  mind  me"

Taehyung  turned  around  heading  to his  study. He  decided  not to push matters  with  Jungkook anymore.  They  were  never  on good  terms from  the  start.

Jungkook  later  made  lunch  but  Taehyung  wasn't  on the  dinning  table. He  later  found  him  sleeping  on his  desk after  looking  for  him almost  everywhere.

"Which  one  is it ,Taehyung? "

"What  are  you  talking  about? "Taehyung  yawned as he  was  getting  up.

"Don't  you  know  the  lunch  time  in this  house  or are  you  just  straight up avoiding  me? "

"Why  are you  asking  me  that. I just  dozed off .Is that  a crime. Why  would  you  think  that  I'm  avoiding  you. "

"So you  just  came  here  to doze  off.You  haven't  done that  before. In fact I never  had  to call  you  over  for  lunch. If you  wanted  to sleep  then  you  should  have  gone  to the  bedroom "

"Jungkook, please  don't  make  an issue  out  of nothing. "

"Nothing! Taehyung  I'm  not  stupid. You  clearly  have  been  avoiding  me  and  I  wanna  know  why "

"Are  you  perhaps  on your monthly  periods. Your  mood is over  the  roof."Taehyung joked as he rubbed his eyes in circular motion.

"What? That's  rude.I don't  go to  periods  ,Taehyung. Don't  you  fucking  change  the  subject. It ain't  over "

"Would  it be enough  if I  apologize  to you? "

"I  don't  know "Jungkook  pouted

"Or should  I  give  you  a nice  warm bath with  jasmine  oil and  a nice  massage afterwards and  maybe. ...?"Taehyung  whispered  as he  back hugged  the  younger  sensually.
