Finn, meet Elodie and my friend Tiffany. They're going to be staying with us for awhile.", Olivia says exuberantly.

I couldn't take my eyes off of his eyes. He glares right at me with an annoyed look. Does he not like me?

"Finn, Elodie goes to your school."

"She does?", he turns to his mother and tilts his head.

He doesn't even know who I am. That makes me feel so much better about myself. I roll my eyes and face palm. I could not believe this was even real. Mom nudges me when she notices my sour attitude.

"It's okay, it's a big school. I'm probably not very noticeable to the eyes of the Finn Turner.", I fold my arms.

"Elodie! Olivia, where's her room? I'm so sorry. She should go in there and cool some steam.", Mom scoffed.

"It's quite alright. Why don't you guys follow me, I'll show you to your rooms.", Olivia leads the way upstairs.

I take a deep breath and trace my hands along the white polished railing of the beautiful stairs. I'd never even imagined setting a foot in a house like this. It was absolutely gorgeous. Olivia took us down a long hall and we turned a left. We went into a room with a queen sized bed and light blue walls.

"This is your room, Elodie. It used to be Finn's play room when he was younger. That's why there's race car stickers over there.", she giggles.

"I-It's fine.", I smiled.

"Well, make yourself at home. Your boxes are in that corner. I'll show your mom to her room now.", Olivia gives me a heartwarming smile and took Mom out the door.

I guess this could be homey. I sat on the bed and it was pretty comfy. I started to unpack a couple things and make the room more like my own.

Mom called me down to eat dinner. Olivia and her husband sat across from Mom and I. The food was amazing and I definitely couldn't complain that I wasn't excited to have food like this everyday. The only person missing from this table was Finn. I wondered where he was.

"Where's Finn, honey?", Olivia asks Mr. Turner.

"How should I know?", he grumbles, taking a long sip of his wine.

No surprise no one knows where Finn goes these days. He's probably off smoking pot with some girls in tight dresses.

"Do you like the food?", Olivia asks me.

"Oh, yes it's amazing. I'm starting to believe these noodles are my soulmate.", I nod eagerly.

I mentally facepalm. There's a small chuckle that escapes everyone at the tables mouths. After a couple hours of uncomfortable chit chat, Finn bursts through the doors.

"Hey hon, you want some noodles?", his mother asks.

"Not hungry."

He stomps up the stairs. Soon I'm excused from the table and Mom cleans up the table. We all head to bed. I had a peaceful sleep that night, due to the amazing bed, but a certain someone took up my dreams.

"Finn, aren't you going to give Elodie a ride? You are going to the same place.", Olivia says when the two of us are both downstairs.

It was Monday already. Finn was not home at all this weekend. Was he usually like this? Mr. and Mrs. Turner were both so kind. Mom has been busy at work, but also gets plenty of time to relax. And me, I was trapped in my room all weekend due to Jenny catching a fever.
