My favorite mythical creatures is probably the Firebird. The Firebird is a large bird with plumage that glows red, orange, and light yellow. Though, in later incantation, the Firebird takes on more of a peacock look. The feathers of the Firebird will glow even when removed, and could light up a room if not concealed.
But in fairy tales, the Firebird was highly coveted by many, and they would go on a quest to find the bird. I feel, or I felt, that that was really a parallel to my life (trying to be hunted down and such).
Would I turn into that creature for a day? Maybe. Probably not though, since everyone would be after me (yet again).
