Climbing into my car I insert the key into the ignition and smile to myself as I listen to the low purring of my engine. "I swear to God, if I had to wait another minute I would've stormed up there and threw your fucking ass over my shoulders and carry you to school. Naked or not." Ian blurted out glaring at me. I almost immediately bursted out in laughter. Looking up at his face I tried to put on the most innocent face I could muster and gave my most sweet smile. Rolling his eyes at me he turned on the radio and I smiled at myself as we sat in a comfortable silence all the way to school. As I pulled into the parking lot I saw that my usual space was taken. Grumbling inwardly I parked at the empty lot in the back which was furthest away from the school doors. As I opened my door the cool spring breeze whipped against my face making my cheeks flush a light shade of pink. Grabbing Ian's hand we walked inside the school at a slug like pace because for once, I was actually early. Walking to my locker I opened it and placed my books inside and closed it looking behind Ian to find a flustered looking Amy. Guessing that the couple would need privacy I walked away from them and went out onto the field to sit. Pulling out my phone I unlocked it and went on to my reading. I wouldn't say I'm a typical nerd but I wouldn't say I'm far from it.

While I was engrossed in Harry and Tessa's bullshit of a relationship I was entirely unaware that someone had sat down next to me. Looking up my breath hitched in my throat at the most gorgeous sight infront of me. Of course he had to be new because there is no way that I would've missed this beauty. His hazel eyes studied me and his jaw stood out prominently. God, his cheekbones were to die for. His hair was a rich black colour and his skin was the colour of caramel and damn he was a fine sight. Clearing my throat he chuckled lightly and my heart nearly melted at how beautiful the sound was. Leaning his head to a side he finally broke the silence. "I'm Nathan, could you show me where the Art room is please?" I didn't know my throat could get any drier but when I heard his English accent it got drier than I would've ever expected. Noticing that I hadn't replied to him I opened my mouth to speak which resulted in me breaking into a fit of coughs. When I finally stopped I saw amusement in his eyes and replied with a soft come on, because I had Art either way. Getting up I walked to the Art room always keeping two steps ahead of Nathan. When we arrived I gave him a small smile and turned on my heel because we were early for class and I could've sworn I almost heard a faint thank you. Walking into the bathroom I slid down the wall and sat there, my self conscious' time to scold me. Boys aren't good for you Xańa. You always get hurt because you're too naïve. Stay away from that boy, you know what happened the last time. Sighing loudly I stood up and stared at my reflection in the mirror as my thoughts began to drown me ..
