This would have to be my 40th drink. This is so pathetic. Me, getting soo pissing drunk because of Amy. Chugging down the final swig of my patron I turned around and saw Xańa. She sure as he'll stuck out in this crowd. As if she had known exactly where he'd be sitting she saw her staring at him in what seemed to be relief, confusion and ... mock disbelief? Practically running towards him, he realized she had slowed down as she neared him and an emotion flashed over her face, caution. He noticed it right away and patted the bar stool next to him indicating for her to sit. Reluctantly she sat and looked up at him as he avoided her questioning gaze and ordered two whiskeys for them. Sipping her whiskey she opened her mouth and closed it again. "Amy left me Nana." He finally whispered, his voice cracking and a few involuntary tears rolled down his cheek. "She was all that I fucking had Nana." He said his voice raising. Midsob he continued. "I knew I was never good enough for her but I thought we could make it ya know? I was finally getting my shit together and she bailed on me. She bailed on me Na.." His voice breaking as he was now full on crying.
Xańa who has been listening in shock, hugged her bestfriend, trying to multitask between comforting Ian and calming down herself. Pulling my phone out behind Ian's back I texted Amy.meet me in 10. behind the club on Strand Street. and don't have any fucking excuses cause you have some explaining to do.
Slipping her phone in her pocket she stood up and lifted Ian to his feet and walked out of the bar. "FUCKING HELL MAN." Xańa screamed at the top of her lungs. Was he stalking her or something? What the actual fuck?
Standing gaping infront of her was Nathan. Again. Smirking he straightened up, "If I didn't know any better I'd say you were following me." Scoffing Xańa tried not to gag at how cocky he was. "As if I'd ever."
Ian looked between the two then back to Xańa. Evidently he had missed something. "Nana who tf is this?" Laughing Nathan stepped aside to let them pass, not even bothering the look at Ian. He just stared at Xańa, his gaze darkening. Clearing her throat she looked away and continued walking with Ian. "Xańa. Start. Talking." But little did he know that Xańa had totally blanked out, her mind rambling in itself. What's with this guy? Shaking her head she climbed into her car and pulled out her phone to see if Amy had texted her back and indeed she did. As soon as Xańa saw what Amy had sent she dropped her phone with a gasp. Amy had sent her a photo of her holding a pregnancy test. And fucking hell, it was positive.
