(It's been a while but I figured to get back into the swing since I will be continuing this series and it's my favorite time of the year! )

Skyler's POV

Sally came to pick Percy up from camp. I stood at the barrier with him and Grover, a small smile over my lips as we said our goodbyes.

"Skye--"

"Percy it's cold, you should go," I said softly, nodding towards the road just through the trees.

"I want you to come. For Christmas." He said quickly before I could cut him off again. I stared at him for a moment before Grover shoved a bag into my hands.

"Will packed it for you. He says to join him when you're done at Percy's."

"Percy...after everything--"

"Just a few days," Percy said, taking my gloved hand in his. "Take some time to relax." He said softly, nodding to his moms' car that sat on the road. I sighed, looking down at the bag Will had packed for me then at the car where Sally was waiting for us. I nodded slowly only to be greeted by Percy's smile.

......

The ride into Manhattan was nice. It was full of lighthearted stories of when Percy was a child and embarrassed laughter from the son of Poseidon. We were all too busy talking to care how bad the Manhattan traffic was in the snowstorm.

When we reached the apartment I welcomed the warmth and the smell of candies that filled the rooms. Will's house always smelled of coffee and warm leather so this was a refreshing change. Sally had a small Christmas tree in the corner by the dining room table and on the table sat boxes of ornaments for us to help place on the tree.

"Percy, why don't you get Skye settled in while I start on dinner," Sally said, placing her purse on a small hook by the door.

"And what exactly is for dinner?" Percy asked as he walked backwards down a small hallway with me following him closely.

"It's a surprise!" Sally called with a small chuckle.

Percy showed me where the bathroom was and then his bedroom which looked pretty normal. The walls were painted a deep blue, there was a desk in the corner. There were a few stray clothing pieces which he tried to kick under his bed before I saw but it was too late.

"So... You're gonna sleep in here and then I'll be out on the couch," Percy said.

I nodded and placed my bag down on the desk chair before sitting on the bed. "Are we ever going to talk about--"

"Not now. After Christmas." Percy said calmly, sitting down next to me.

I nodded and gently leaned my head on his shoulder. "You don't hate me... do you?" I asked softly.

Percy was silent for a few moments which made me close my eyes tightly.

"No." Percy said slowly. "I don't hate you." Percy placed his hand over mine and gave it a small squeeze. "If I hated you why'd I invite you for Christmas?"

"Sympathy?" I mumbled, staring at his deep blue walls.

Percy let out a small laugh and wrapped his arm around my shoulder before kissing the top of my head gingerly. "Why don't we go pester my mom till she tells us what's for dinner?"

I chuckled and followed him out of his room and into the kitchen where Sally stood over the counter, chopping multiple kinds of vegetables. "I hope you feel at home, Skyler." Sally said sweetly.
