Resisting the urge to punch Victoria in the face, I glanced back towards Bella, and pulled her into a side hug, making sure that she was safe.
She was stiff, and there was no doubt why, but she relaxed a little in my arms.
I glared at the rival vampires with as much fire as I could muster, until they stopped in front of us, a metre or so apart.
I tried to put on a brave face, to pretend that everything would be fine, but I knew that it wasn't.
There was no way, that we were getting out of this alive. If these vampires in front of us didn't kill us, the army of vampires, down the mountain would.
Either way we were dead.
Nevertheless, I could only watch as they bared their teeth in the hope that we would become the next meal.
