RYAN'S P.O.V:
I yawn awake to find myself in my office chair. When I stretch closing my eyes I hear a throat clearing softly. I open my eyes again and look to my left. I spot Shane trying very poorly to
mind his own business. He kept glancing at me while I rubbed the sleep from my eyes. He had a book in his hands; trying to cover his face.
"Hey man. What are we doing back here? What happened to that old lady who was she? How come you like, knew her?" I bombarded.
Shane sighed. "Whoo, man it's great to have you back."
"You still didn't answer my questions."
"Oh well, the grandma was a distant friend of my mother? Yeah that's why she knew me. She wasn't on her meds? So that's why she knocked you out. She wasn't in her right mind. But I helped her, the poor thing. Told her she needed to lay off before she knows who she's messing with." Shane mused.
"Oh, why didn't you say anything about her when we were heading to her address?"
"Because I just didn't know it would be of all people; her. Trust me, no one would. I hadn't seen her in a while. But given the fact that they would act like that during a soccer game, I sniffed them right up." Shane growled; oddly.
"How did you get me back here?"
"Magic." Shane smiled cheekily; doing jazz fingers.
I rolled my eyes, but considered the possibility. My eyes widened. "Shane...you're not being serious are you?"
Shane just chuckled. "Of course I'am Ryan."
"Fuck you." I pouted, crossing my arms over my chest.
Shane went back to his book while I slouched in my chair more; zoning out.SHANE'S P.O.V:
Thank God he's believing my bullshit story. I thought since he has a job as a detective he would have at least been skeptical. But I'm also glad he didn't push forward about it. That's what I get for having a gentle, handso- I mean nice guy like him as a friend. The whole time he was sleeping I couldn't take my eyes off of him. It was like he had taken all of my attention by just making the slightest movements. It was odd how much he made me want to protect him from this awful second Hell. That's why I could never tell him who I truly am. That's why whenever we get in the subject of the supernatural I shut down all of his beliefs and mock him. I feel like I can trust Ryan, but with what exactly? I don't think his innocent mind would take me being a supernatural being from Hell; to good. His mind would corrupt. Most of all; I think he would avoid me. Scared to ever face me again because of who I really am. I don't try to make Ryan hate me so much. It's just who I'am. When I was told to come back to Hell; I knew that I would fall for my fathers trap. Being down there is not what I wanted. Torturing those who sinned? It just didn't sound like something meant for me. Sure I take pleasure in seeing people fail and giving in to my fathers sinful ways. That doesn't mean I'm like him. I will never be like my father. No matter how hard I tried, I could never satisfy him. His expectations were too much for me to handle. That's why one day; I had enough and left. I won't go into detail as to how I escaped or what I did after. But I knew I was free. Until I met Raum again. An old friend of mine, who works for my father. He's like a Robin Hood if you will. Only stealing for himself though. I'm assuming he sent a good friend of mine to kidnap me; to bring me back to Hell. Raum doesn't care who he works for or what he has to do. He just does it because he likes to have fun. Anyway you look at it, I'm never going back. I'm here to stay with Ryan and here to protect him....(тнιѕ ιѕ a ѕнorт cнpт, вυт ι alѕo pυт angѕт ιn ιт ι тнιnĸ. ѕo enjoy wιтн мy new ғonт aѕ well ιтѕ мy ғavorιтe! -deмon ѕaυce😘)
